Profile

Deelel is a program from Bitopia, but isn't your typical native. She is an illegal program with no actual function, having been found and thrown into gladiatorial combat by a viral group which exists in the system, with no memory of her creation and not having been given a purpose by her creator, it was easy for her to be pressed into fighting life or death battles. At least until her rescue, thanks to the Union. Deelel is surprisingly friendly for someone who was involved in a blood sport, as it was never personal, she just didn't want to be deleted. She's curious about the system at large which she'd never have been able to explore, as well as the so called Multiverse beyond even that. However, she often has trouble understanding things from the 'user' space, and the more chaotic nature of the world outside her own is quite baffling to the program. Deelel is a dangerous and agile combatant, able to endure a surprising amount of damage. She's a professional with her ID disk, which is a thrown weapon that also contains a good deal of data on her and her system ID. Also, she's quite the adept pilot with vehicles, given that some of the gladiatorial combats involved them quite heavily. She's also shown a few strange powers, but those may be due to her nature as an abandoned program.

Advantages

Powers

Program: Deelel is a Program and thus alien in many ways to organic life. She doesn't need to eat, breath or sleep (in the organic sense.) She does need to sleep down to conserve power, recharge and to clear her buffer, however. Due to the nature of the multiverse and perhaps more, she is able to exist in the material world and enter electronic device and networks. She's a mid ranked hacker due to her nature, but a dedicated hacker be they organic or a Program, would be able to outdo her, but it's still useful. She also can survive and operate in environments that would be hostile or dangerous to organic beings. She also does visually appear to be a human as well however, should she be injured, such as being cut, her true nature would be instantly revealed. Also of note is the fact that she's immune to biological diseases due to her inorganic nature.

Unfinished program: Deelel is an unfinished program apparently abandoned by the user who created her. She seems to have been perhaps an control program for a Game AI, however it's hard to tell and not even she knows for sure. She has shown some strange abilities such as above normal endurance for a program, as well as in terms of punishment she can take. She's also shown the ability to prevent another program from being deleted, but it does not seem to be something she can do at will. (Note: Preventing deletion would require OOC consent.)

Skills

Gladiator: Deelel had been forced into illegal games which would be akin to death matches in the world beyond the system. Forced to fight to stay alive for as long as she can remember, Deelel has become a very skilled close combatant with both hand to hand combat and and melee weapons, but she has a preference for using her ID disk as a thrown weapon. She also knows the ins and out of one on one combat and can play very dirty when the prize is her life.

Assets

Hard Light: Using various equipment, for lack of a better word, Deelel is able to create combat gear for herself. The objects she creates are mostly melee weapons, but she's also able to create a flight pack which she can use to fly at sub sonic speeds, as well as form a Photon Cycle which she often uses in gladiatorial games or just to get around. She can generate other simple equipment as well with this ability, but it's limited to hand held equipment.

NPCs

Disadvantages

System Lag: While Deelel can go for along periods without actual sleep, she does need to go into her sleep mode to rest to recharge her self as well as to purge out her RAM, as it were. If she goes too long without rest she behaves much like a computer left on for too long, reeling up with lots of junk processing and causing lag in her response times and her general activity. Being 'tired' will also weaken the strength of her hard light constructs.

Organic confusion: The world of the users is full of innate chaos and strife, more so than even most systems. The most chaotic programs and even virii have directive and orders at their core that they are inclined to follow. While she has no function, she seeks to find out what it is.

Program: She's vulnerable to virii and other problems a computer program might solve. It would be much like a human getting ill with some sort of biological virus and is something worth noting. After all, it can still mess her up quite badly if someone is aware of this.

Curious: She's curious about the User world, who wouldn't be to see a plane above your own as it were. Still she does not have a full understanding of the world beyond her, and she doesn't understand everything about it; Even some common sense things that most people wouldn't think about wouldn't be known to her that well, or she'd expect them to behave like their system counterpart, which could lead to all sorts of trouble. She will learn from mistakes, but the first time is always interesting.
