Synopsis: The Garlean Empire with the Confederacy move in to take control of Point A in Upper La Noscea. Can the Eorzeans and their allies hold them back?
Cast of Characters: 67, 216, Karian Icefang, 486, 493, 522

Gaius Van Baelsar (522) has posed:
Fog rolled over the area from the early morning hours. With the concern of the Garleans next movement, a great deal of Camp Bronze Lakes more 'civilian' attractions has been closed down. People who were not the Barracudas or the Maelstrom have been moved out of the area.

This time it would seem the Eorzean forces were ready, given how close the Garleans were now to this location with only the Kobald camp between them and the Castrum not to far on the other side. -- And the fog-- the fog was not helping morale.

The troops were on edge, even the patrols didn't like the feeling in the air. For the beasts of the land were quiet and not even a Kobald seem to dare test their luck within the fog. Union allies or those willing to work for the Maelstrom though would have been called out to in advance. Those that came the day before would have been given a good hearty welcoming dinner and some nice rooms to sleep in. Those that came this morning would be greeted with a salute, some warm tea, and a meal from the kettle if they wanted some.

The members of the Union though were free to go and with the Aetheryte being here, though newly established, there was even greater reason for them to protect this location. They couldn't let the Garleans get this spot-- but more correctly, they couldn't lose the Aetheryte out here, because it was the only means they had to bringing in more troops!

Then it at last came, the deep rumble that some had come to know during the days as Dalamud started to fall. That deep rumble of the Garlean airships. It was the only warning they had as they started to call the alarms, but the fog was creating interference with the new linkpearls and so only a few men were sent through the Aether to go back to Limsa to warn the others.

The Garleans were here...

Union members who were there were quickly awoken, it would be up to them to call for aid. Troops here quickly setup the cannons, but because of the fog it was hard to see just where the airships were. Mechanical sounds alerted them to the fact the Garleans had made landfall..

On the Garlean side, the Confederacy and allies of (including those hired in) would find themselves brought in by the metallic rather future-like airships, dropped off at a point slightly away from the Camp using the fog that was still the air as cover. Several Vanguard units came online and a few Magitek Armors themselves walked off the ramps of the airships. One of the Centurions turns to look at the gathered Confederate members who have come with them, "If we can take this location, we cut off the access the Union and Eorzeans have to Upper La Noscea. Just to the west is the Kobald camp that serve an Eikon. It is our hope by taking control of this area that we will keep those beasts from summoning, as it seems their military is never inclined too take the measures to end this."

The Centurion then turned to his men, met by another Centurion as well, as the fully armored solider then raises up his arm and motions forward, "Fog will be settling soon! Move in close while we have the advantage and let us end this quickly! Move out!"

One of the items that was unloaded being carried by several of the troopers, was a some type of cannon device, along with it several canisters and a few cables. They though were breaking away from the main group, seeming to be heading up for a hill with it. Whatever its purpose was-- would probably soon become clear.

Conor Delaney (67) has posed:
SOME PEOPLE GO HUNTING ON DESERTED ISLANDS. This is stupid. Conor does sensible things. Like join crazy fantasy land armies.

Conor sits astride his chocobo. It's a rented Chocobo, he has done enough to earn his real chocobo yet, he's working on that. He sits astride his rental chocobo, having taken to wearing traditional summoner garb. A large open leather coat, leather riding pants, tall thick leather boots, fingerless gloves, and a fine black hat with a feather in it. And over that, a tabard for the Grand Flames.

Since he can't get a real porter, he uses one of his Hat Goblins, dressed as a squire. It is currently struggling to hold a massive tome. Conor doesn't actually need the tome, but he likes having it around. It looks awesome.

"Come, Snotrag."
"My name is Anusbite."
"What? Are you sure?"
There's a pause, silence except for the sound of the chocobo's talons against the cobbled stone as he rides it in a slow circle around the encampment. "Yes. Snotrag exploded!"
Conor considers this as he looks on, "Come A-I'm not saying that name, you are Snotrag Two."
"But, my mum called me Anusbite!" The goblin wails, starting to sob. Conor produces his keyrune. A bright flash of white light appears around him and two great mana barbs lash down at the goblin. He explodes. Then, with a wave of the rune, he swirls up more red mana, forming another goblin with a pyramid hat.

"Your name is Snotrag." The goblin gives a crosseyed salute.

The call goes out. Conor lifts up his speaker from the inside of his tablet and flips through his iPod. He picks a song. Not perhaps the most precise, but it works. He turns it up to full and stows it again. Then, with a deliberate motion, he pulls up his sleeve. Snotrag disappears into a rush of red mana as Conor reveals his Yu-Gi-Oh play bracer and sets one of his decks into it.

His heart beats wildly. He can feel the ache of it in his neck. He's never fought a war before. Oh, he's fought back elves from the Kithkin, and goblins, but that's raiding parties.

This is war.

Conor draws seven cards, looks at them, and nods to himself.

Tshallandria (216) has posed:
In her throne-room Tshallandria frowns slightly, and steps forward, teleporting to the center of the battlefield to be...

...And the battlefield responds to her will... ...The air becomes dead slient. The earth seems to stop it's trembling at the coming of the Garlean troops. A preturnatural calm settles over everything, and the fog, it just vanishes, banished instantly by her will.

"Eorzean troops." Tshallandria's voice is cold, emotionless, "I am Tshallandria, queen of my world's Heavens, and Hells."

Her voice rings in the sudden silence, and the first hints of clouds begin to form in the sky, "I would give you this one chance to retreat and survive, ye citizens of the Alliance."

And in a matter of moments the cloud cover has spread across the sky casting the area into into a deep twilight, and then into darkness, "Were I you, I would take it. For should any of you remain and attempt to-" The darkness is suddenly shattered, as hellfire begins leaping between the clouds above casting the entire region in a lurid crimson glow, "-I will scour you from the face of the battlefield."

Her sword pops into existence in her right hand, "Now go, for my mercy and patience are both limited."

Karian Icefang has posed:
Against the forces of evil, the warriors of the Imperium stand against them, like the bulwark against terror that they are. Gathered around his brothers, he raises up his power sword. "Brothers! Today, we will hold our line. The enemy will not set foot upon this ground, nor will they enjoy the taste of victory. Rather, today we will serve them defeat. So I ask you to stand with me once more, in service to our Allfather and to our allies. Stand with me now, and make our enemies cower in fear. Make them know what makes us the masters of Fenris, The fiercest warriors of the Imperium....Help me, brothers, to make our enemies Fear our Howl! FOR RUSS AND THE ALLFATHER!!!" Roars the Wolf Lord, the howls of himself and his brothers echoing out through the fog.

Goffard Gaffgarion (493) has posed:
The Garlean transport might have had some issue with Gaffgarion, since he insisted his chocobo be brought. And she was a /mean/ thing, too. Black, glossy feathers and a chip on one feathered shoulder as big as her rider. There was no telling, Gaffgarion reasoned, when an enemy would take to the sky, and since Melody-- his chocobo-- could fly, he could fight from her back rather than have to wait until the enemy landed.

When the Centurion speaks, Gaffgarion is mounted, sword not yet drawn, shield in place on his left arm. Gaffgarion makes a face at the mention of 'summoning'. "An Eikon? Do you mean another of those God-forsaken Primals?" he asks. Looking at the Eorzean side. "Fie. Lackwits all, to not destroy them before now. I would hope your people have more sense." Though that would require getting a presence in the area. And Eorzea might be stopping that from happening.

Well! Time to fix that! Gaffgarion draws his sword as Tshallandria's voice echoes through the area. "And /that/ will signal the beginning." Smirk. "Appropriate." However, it's the Garleans that are paying him, not the Confederacy, so he waits for the Centurion's word to advance.

Raditz (486) has posed:
"I'm sorry, is someone talking about scouring the battlefield?" Comes a voice from the sky, followed by several balls of energy flying through the air and into the ground in front of the Garlean troops. Warning shots.

There is a brief shockwave in the fog as an energy signiture makes its presence known, with hair of gold and eyes of green and a flowing cape, the shockwave clears the fog away just enough to show that the super saiyan Raditz has arrived.

"Sorry, was in the neighborhood, and it seemed like these people needed a helping hand." Raditz smirks just a touch as his eyes skim accross the battlefield, "Oh hey, you look fun..." His eyes lock onto Tshallandria, "I think I remember you... Queen of Heavens and HElls huh? -Fun-."

He tilts his head one way and then the other, popping his neck. He was ready to brawl.

Gaius Van Baelsar (522) has posed:
The Garleans march forward, even as the explosions blast in front of them, they do not falter and they show their strength in the face of possible death. Their feet march in time, their formation holds steady and though a few in the back cringe at the energy balls blasted their way-- they have to keep moving forward.

For being a coward meant the possible face of death--if not far worse.

Karin's words give hope to the Morale of even the Maelstrom troops who raise their axes high to his words. It was something they needed, but that all came to be slightly shaken when Tshallandria appeared and suddenly made it apparently of-- just how many Garleans were coming in from the distance.

The Magitek Armors starting to lead the way with the Magitek Vanguard marching right along. Then they watched as the sky darkened and a few of them spoke of her being an elder primal. This caused a few of them to actually run yelling they refused to be tempered by a monster.

Other tried to stand their ground and remember the bravery from Karin's words to hold there ground. Including as the few of the commanders barked at them to hold the ground. They could not lose here!

Yet the resolve would be shaken once more as a massive beam of hot white-blue races across the battlefield. It slams right into the Aetheryte Crystal. The crystal chimes almost and starts to glow brightly, those who were retreating to it suddenly run away, for soon it explodes scattering aetheric shards in different direction and a bloom of Aetheric energy races up to meet the hellfire skies, before dissipating.

With that done the Vanguard suddenly rush forward, as the Magitek Armors break and the troops come rushing forward, firing off their gunswords. The Magitek Armors blast the area with their own cannons of hot red plasma and the Maelstrom goes to meet them in stride, while their own cannons are loaded and fire off massive cannon balls across the battlefield, to knock a few of the Troopers of their feet and a knock over a Magitek armor in the process.

Let the war begin...

Karian Icefang has posed:
Karian narrows his good eye at the advancing horde of enemies, and ducks when the beam weapon strikes into the crystal. He picks himself up and stands tall and proud. "Impressive weaponry...but that is nothing to me. I KNOW NO FEAR, FOR I AM FEAR INCARNATE! FORWARD, MY BROTHERS! THE ALLFATHER IS WITH US!" Roars the Wolf Lord, showing he still had the talent as a Wolf Priest, or Chaplain. To emphasize the point, he charges at the frontlines, flanked by not only his brother marines, but his rhino-sized thunderwolf, who had somehow snuck his way there.

Conor Delaney (67) has posed:
Conor puts down his first card, tapping it. "Champion of the Parish." He announces out into the world at large as he presses the card down against the bracer where it sticks. White mana rolls up around Conor, then it forms itself into what appears to be a young man, but in thick armor, holding a sword across his shoulder. He stands up behind Conor's chocobo.

Just in time for them to buckle as the Aetheryte crystal erupts in a flash of light. "Oh. Oh fuck." Conor gapes at the spot. "That's not good."

A gunsword goes off over Conor's head, making him duck down. "Chocobo was a bad idea, chocobo was a bad idea!" He scrambles for his next card, "Fuck." And puts it down. Another plains. Nothing to work with. The champion moves with Conor as they duck down behind a sturdy wall. He leans his head and hat back against the cold stone, gasping for breath. He closes his eyes, banging his head briefly against the wall as he lets the music flow over his senses.

Someone has to do it. It might as well be him, right?

Tshallandria (216) has posed:
Tshallandria pauses for a moment standing silently in the center of the battlefield, waiting for the troops on both sides to move forward, and the Eorzeans to move back... But then Raditz comes sweeping down, and the Aetherite crystal explodes. "Well. I was hoping to not have to do it, Raditz."

She shakes her head, and then looks at the Saiyan directly, "It's a pity really, and a rather large waste, but--" She raises her left hand, and hellfire lances rain from the blazing clouds in the sky onto the oncoming Eorzean troops, "--I'll give you a decent chance to distract me, which might actuallly give them a chance to retreat in a more normal fashion."

Her eyes narrow, flickering with a dull red and brilliant azure glow, "I'd much rather fight someone who's capable of fighting back anyway, but you, you might want to tell the Alliance to retreat."

Goffard Gaffgarion (493) has posed:
The spectacular explosion was just as much a signal as anything else. A sharp whistle and a knee from Gaffgarion and the black chocobo advances with the Garlean soldiers. He has no qualms about being front guard-- it gives him the opportunity to murder more people, after all. That's the easiest and fastest way to defeat the enemy, to just murder all of them.

Then he sees the rhino-sized Thunderwolf. That's kind of hard to miss. And it draws his attention right to the one who's leading the charge. Pulling at the reins, Gaffgarion aims that way, gathering himself to crouch in the seat. And when he gets close enough, he pulls Melody in a hard U-turn, then leaps off of the chocobo, sword aimed to cause some damage to Karian! He's noticed that missing eye, and tries to approach from the large man's blind spot.

Gaius Van Baelsar (522) has posed:
The lances come down and several more Maelstrom scramble back. More yell about Primal witch and some beg for the Navigator to save them as they run. Others still stand their ground, but it is easy to see they are getting shaken by Tshallandria's presence alone.

As for Conor, he will hear the sounds of mechanized presence. If he looks through the flames of the lances brought down, a twelve foot Magitek Vanguard is heading right for him. Those slits in the head flicker with a orange-reg glow before it points the drill lance in his direction.

It starts to spin and then the outer casing fires straight off and heads right for him!

Karian Icefang has posed:
Goffard's strike would fall true, but the thick armor mitigates the impact somewhat. Karian turns and grins, fangs exposed. "Your brave to engage a Wolf Lord. I can tell your not like the other soldiers here." He says. He hefts his power sword, and draws his greataxe off his back. The power field crackles to life along the sword, appearing like lightning. He swings with the axe, giving a warriors greeting to his opponent. "What is your name, soldier?"

Raditz (486) has posed:
As much as Raditz would like to give Tshallandria a more immediate pummeling, the hellfire lances kind of give him a brief distraction, as he looks up and growls, "You know, I hate having to play hero more than I really need to but---" He gathers energy into his hands and begins to spin in the air with his arms about like a windmill and flings several energy blasts up into the sky with the aim of blasting the lances out of the sky and bring harm to nobody on the ground.

After that, Raditz ceases to spin and dusts his hands off as he says, "Right, that's my hero priorities taken care of..." He glances down grins before dive bombing head first at Tshallandria and aims to srike her right in the -face-.

    With his FACE.

Goffard Gaffgarion (493) has posed:
That didn't do much. But a wild leaping strike from the back of a chocobo generally isn't that accurate unless you're trained at it. Gaffgarion is indeed not trained in that. He's just a nut. He'd have to be, to leap at a fully-armored man nearly three feet taller than him who looks nearly as much of wolf as the dire wolf beside him.

An axe crackling with lightning?! The swing strikes true, and actually throws Gaffgarion aside several feet. "By my trowth," he mutters, getting to his feet again. He /was/ asked a question, though. "Goffard Gaffgarion," he offers. "Let us take not personal stock in this battle. I am a sellsword, and swear fealty only to coin. Perhaps one day we may be allies. But not this day."

With that out of the way, Gaffgarion raises his sword, "Master of all swords, cut energy!" And then points the sword in a sudden motion towards Karian. In the sky, a great glowing eye-shape appears, growling echoing from under the ground roughly in the area of Karian's position. The eye opens and crimson energy falls to the ground. As it touches the ground, with a snapping sound, it turns into a blade that stabs into the eye in the sky.

Probably gonna hurt a little if it catches Karian...

Conor Delaney (67) has posed:
If this were a cartoon, Conor's eyes would go down to pinpricks. Since it is not, he wildly scrambles with the reins, kicking the chocobo into motion. He uses his boot to kick the Champion of the Parish out of the way rapidly. "Back off, I need you for later!" Conor ducks down and swerves to one side, wincing as the drill rips along him. It tears through the leather coat and slams into his side. But when he is playing, Conor is tougher. The drill briefly meets a mana shield, giving Conor just enough time to pull back.

He gives the Chocobo its head, pulling out another card from the deck on top of the device. He slaps it down onto the playfield. A gentle breeze is now blowing through the area. The grass seems to go on forever. The sun lurks behind the fog. Conor draws from this, sucking in the white mana, and lifts a card to press down. "Fiend Hunter."

Suddenly, the Champion of the Parish's armor grows more sturdy as another human appears. Wearing much the same livery, the white tabarded bearded man rushes forward, pointing his warhammer at the Vanguard. A sort of double crook, the sign of Avacyn, shines from the warhammer, making a barrier around the Vanguard to hold it back, trap it. Conor breathes a sigh of relief, then starts rapidly moving around it, out into the fog. "Okay, go time."

The Champion lifts his broadsword as he runs ahead of Conor, rushing down at the ground troops, swinging into the first soldier he meets.

Karian Icefang has posed:
Karian's instincts tell him that the sellsword was about to try something, and at the last moment rolls out of the way. "A mercenary, eh? I think you picked the wrong side. That said, you have impressive magicks." He says, rising to full stance. His Thunderwolf turned to eye Goffard and Melody. Ygdril was certain he could take the Chocobo, but felt that he didn't need to unless it got involved. Karian brough his sword down at the sellsword in a flash. "We may one day be allies indeed. But....something tells me you have more honor then the average merc."

Gaius Van Baelsar (522) has posed:
The Vanguard finds himself halted by the sudden barrier but starts to struggle back. The massive gyro on its backside starts to spin as flares of blue flame burn out from it and crackles of orange-red electricity stream around it.

Its going to stand there a bit and fight with that shield.

However for the Champion as he comes upon one of the Garlean troopers, the Trooper suddenly looks up and then the Champion may not only find the sword swing blocked by the drill lance of another Vanguard but then shoved back, before the Vanguard lunges in to further knock back the Champion.

Tshallandria (216) has posed:
Tshallandria just gazes at Raditz for a moment, before she smiles and shakes her head somewhat sadly, "I think you've missed the point Raditz." She gestures to the side, and that preturnal calm from before just vanishes. "I was trying to intimidate them into running, so I wouldn't have to kill them."

The air is starting to take on that sort of clear brittle feeling that one gets right before a storm breaks loose, "But that's of no purpose now." She closes her eyes for a moment before shrugging, and looking back at Raditz just in time to take a headbutt to the ... well ... Head.

There's another blink, before she reaches for the front of his armor and attempts at just throw into the front of charging Eorzean troops, "It's too late to save them, I fear. So concentrate on distracting me."

The earth in a large area under Raditz starts to smoke, as does the earth in a number of points under the Alliance troops, before a moment later, the smoking ground explodes skyward, vomiting lava, fire and semi-molten rock over everything nearby.

Goffard Gaffgarion (493) has posed:
Okay now... THAT HURT! Even if Gaffgarion managed to avoid losing his head to the strike by raising his shield to deflect it from his head, it sent a shock of pain through his arm, visible with the wince on his face. And he has a feeling his everything is going to be horribly sore after this.

But then Karian starts talking about honor. Gaffgarion snorts. "'Honor' is naught but a weakness to be exploited by an enemy," he states. There's no bitterness in his tone, no anger-- from all accounts, he doesn't take the statement personally. He definitely believes it though.

This is probably a really dumb thing to do, considering how big Karian is and how much greater strength the Wolf Lord has in comparison to Gaffgarion... but that's also what he's hoping, that Karian won't be expecting it. He drops his shield down in front of him, ducks his head, and tries to charge Karian. Hopefully that shield will keep his head from being lopped off.

Conor Delaney (67) has posed:
The Champion gets knocked away by the back swing of the drill, stumbling away from the drill. He rears the sword back up to take another swing, only for Conor to kick him away again. Conor isn't going to have any chump blockers just yet. He lets the vanguard drill slide between them again, hammering this time into the chocobo.

Conor takes a dive to the ground as the chocobo is turned into McNuggets by the Vanguard's drill. It's pretty awful. But whatever magic powers Conor's soldiers, it seems that the new man doesn't need to STAY for his shield to take place. Of course, that shield works better in his own world, in his own rules. But it gives Conor the moment he needs.

Draw, shuffle, play, in rapid succession, as Conor struggles to stay out of the press of all the soldiers. He ducks through a sword swing to call out, "MIRRAN CRUSADER!" The second sword is suddenly blocked by a jagged blade. A man with gold armor fused to parts of his body resolves from white mana, hammering back into the soldier with one swing, then the other backward swing.

A new large shoulder pauldron appears on the Champion. He and the fiend hunter go for the Vanguard, the Fiend Hunter swinging his hammer, trying to draw the Vanguard to him while the Champion swings his now mighty broadsword down into the Vanguard's knee joint.

Karian Icefang has posed:
Karian definately was surprised by that. He was hit, but his smirk grows wider. "Is it now?" He asks, almost as if challenging Goffard to confirm that. "Even mercenaries have honor. Honor to the contract holder to complete it, Honor to a cause close to your heart. So do not lie to me, Goffard." He replies, axe and sword swinging down in a paired strike.

Raditz (486) has posed:
Raditz has more than enough battle sense of himself in order to right himself as soon as Thallandria's flung him across the battlefield in that little bit of after-dive-bomb. Well, so much for trying something unexpected to catch Tshallandria off guard, and he's back in the air in no time.

When lava pools open up under him while he's in the air, he blinks and says, "That would suck if I couldn't fly..." There's a pause before he spins right around and bursts into flight, proceeding to fly about and play Superman at high speeds, pulling the Alliance Soldiers out of the path of molten lava and brimstone and all that fun stuff, all while getting volcanic rock striking him while he's at it.

Once he's managed to save several of the soldiers like that, he growls at those guys and tells them, "Get running, idiots!" He grits his teeth before flying back up into the air, all singed and burned, as he glares down at Tshallandria, "Okay, you massive bitch, we're not doing this at your pace. I am not going to be a minor distraction as you do your own thing..."

He bursts down to fly right at Tshallandria and proceeds to burst try to brawl her at those super fast Saiyan speeds, fists flying and kicks and all that. You know how it works, "NEWS FLASH! You don't get to play GOD!"

Gaius Van Baelsar (522) has posed:
One Vanguard takes it to the knee while the other one was got shoved back. The blade bites into the armor, but the stuff is pretty sturdy. The force though causes the Magitek drone to stumble back and almost crash over as it is unable to adjust quick enough.

Yet the two minions of Conor will need to act quickly as the other one that is now able to move once more comes around and takes aim for the two summoned beings; Curiously these machines have for the most part ignored Conor-- perhaps because they don't seem as the threat.

The two drills spin up and then fire at both creatures with a pop of blue flames as they are released from the inner layer.

Goffard Gaffgarion (493) has posed:
Oh yeah. Gaffgarion's definitely going to feel that in the morning. Fact, he's starting to feel it now. With the shield down, he was forced to raise his blade to keep from losing his head to that strike. His knees immediately buckled from the strike. To get out of this, he rolled to the right, pushing the weapons to his left. "Only for mine own benefit," he replies. It's notable that his voice is taut. Not in anger. In pain. "If I cannot be trusted to complete my contract, no one will hire me." Sounds simple, right?

By now Gaffgarion's pretty sure a head-on assault isn't going to work. He takes a moment to size up his opponent (which he should have done to begin with, honestly). Rather hirsute, honestly... maybe the same thing that works on beasts will work here. What would that be? His shield arm is brought up, the hand clawed. "Destruction of nature, gather in flame!" His hand is clenched into a fist.

And with that a swirl of fire appears near Karian, seeking to wrap him in a fiery embrace!

Karian Icefang has posed:
Karian's set alight, singing his armor and his hair. He emerges from the fire, lookin REALLY pissed off now. "You claim to no honor, yet you fight with the skill of a knight." He says, taking off into a run. "At the least, I can honor your name when I defeat you!" He roars, aiming his armored forearm for the sellswords face.

Conor Delaney (67) has posed:
"Fiend Hunter out first!" Conor commands in a direct tone. The cleric with the mighty warhammer throws himself into the way of the vanguard. His magic is used up, there's nothing left for him to do. He pulls in close in front of the Champion of the Parish, allowing the drill to hammer through his body. For one fleeting moment, blood and gore fly and there is the horrible snapping of bone, white flecks flying, but then the Fiend Hunter evaporates into white mana, flowing back out to the plains. Conor shoves his card into the graveyard. "Mirran Crusader!" The gold armored man throws himself forward. Unlike the Fiend Hunter, he seems highly skilled with his blade. He grapples with the drill as it sinks into his body, gritting his teeth as the drill bit meets against more metal. With that strange jagged sword, he slams towards the point where the drill meets the arm, aiming to stab something vital before he too is destroyed into a puff of white mana. Conor looks at his hand. "Shit, time to regroup."

Conor stuffs the Mirran Crusader into the graveyard slot and pulls out another card. "Bonds of Faith!" He puts it on top of the Champion of the Parish. Golden chains of light start to roll around the soldier, squeezing into place. When he lifts his sword, it shines with the symbol of Avacyn.

"These may not be my people," The Champion finally speaks, "but they are in dire need-"

Conor flips his ipod once.

"Of a hero!" Golden light blazes from him as he strikes out at the Vanguard that didn't attempt to grapple the Mirran Crusader, this time swinging his sword in harsh quick side strikes, no more a mere soldier.

Tshallandria (216) has posed:
Tshallandria raises an eyebrow at Raditz, and tilts her head, "Minor distraction?" She chuckles and throws her head back and starts laughing, "Play god?" Her left hand flashes through the air, parrying some of the attacks with her gauntlet, and her armor actively thickens in spots absorbing other attacks, before she grabs for his arm, attempts to twist it around behind him, before simply stating outright, "Do you see the clouds? A few lances of hell-fire? That's playing around."

She pushes him forward, releasing his arm, "And lava bursts? They're childs play." A gesture on her part, causes the clouds above to start broiling, and the winds across the area to creating giant dust devils, "I am the Lord of Darkness. I am the Queen of the Light."

Giant wings of brilliant azure fire, trimmed in dull red flames rise from her back, "I am not playing at being a god." She smiles at him hungrily, "I am one, and you? You are the self proclaimed King of the Saiyans. Ruler of a warrior race. I suggest you stop poking at me, and start hitting me, because this entire time, I've been trying to get you to distract me from fighting those little idiots out there who can't fight back."

Goffard Gaffgarion (493) has posed:
Gaffgarion has not quite yet learned the lesson that you don't piss off a Space Wolf. Though, to be fair, such is a lesson that most people have to be taught the hard way. He is, however, learning that lesson now.

WHAM!

You can almost hear his body whistling through the air as he's thrown back by the powerful strike. Elite or not, Fell Knight or no, Gaffgarion is still human. And Karian's strength is many times that of a normal human being's, even one as close to human peak as Gaffgarion is.

Yet still, even as he pulls himself to his feet-- visor of his helmet dented to hell and back, he has enough snark in him to note, "You presume much, man-wolf. To presume I would give you that 'honor' in the first place." On the other hand, that is definitely a smirk there on his face. He just might be enjoying this.

He gives a sharp whistle, and the black chocobo appears again. She runs near him, and begins to flap her wings. As she does, crimson sparkles of energy gather and flutter from her wings. And then she turns her side to the group and flaps the wing closest to them down. A fiery rock drops from the sky, aimed at Karian.

Gaius Van Baelsar (522) has posed:
The sword slams down on the opposing Vanguard's arm. It impacts into the garlean steel and cermet joint. The impact force is not enough to break it, but it becomes apparent that damage was done as some type of blue liquid drips out of the joint itself and the Vanguard then actually starts to favor that side slightly as the slits in its visor glow again.

The one with Knee damage ha gotten itself back up but it isn't move as fast. It starts to strife around the the champion that has been upgraded further and it is easy to tell the Vanguard is rather off balance by its slow, strafing walk.

However it is not these two that Conor's champion will have to be worried about, it is another Vanguard that is starting to move through the battlefield, where the metal detail is white on the other two, this one has blue there instead. It also has two massive devices up on its shoulders. It becomes clear what they are when it the cover opens up to show warheads within the device.

This Vanguard also looks a bit beat up as well has it then comes to a stop to ready to fire. A few cuts from the battle here and even a bit of blood on its lance tip.

With a blue bloom of flame, several of the Ceruleum warheads fire, heading right for the Champion. When they impact or hit something they explode with blue flames from the Ceruleum inside which is not also what gives it the ignition to burn, but also what allows the very warheads themselves to explode on impact.

Karian Icefang has posed:
Karian eyes the Chocobo and takes the impact dead on. Yet he SOMEHOW still remained upright. A whistle of his own, and that massive wolf appears. With a quick motion, the wolf lord was mounted. "I presume nothing. I honored you with this fight, and you honored me with your name." He responds, his apparent posturing revealing a much deeper, more deliberate reasoning to his words. In a flash, rider and wolf were in motion, axe aimed once more at Goffard.

Raditz (486) has posed:
The arm twist is sudden, and it kind of hurts. It was right at this moment when it dawned on the Saiyan that he was... Kind of outclassed. Raditz grits his teeth as he tries to think of some way to fix his situation, so that at least the soldiers got out alive. So, Raditz does the first thing that he could think of that would most likely draw Tshallandria's full ire.

He turns his head, gathers a wad of saliva, and spits right into her face. "God. My. Ass."

With that, he gathers a ball of purple energy into his right hand and flips himself about in order to untwist his arm, and then swings his palm out to try to smash the ball into Tshallandria's face.

Goffard Gaffgarion (493) has posed:
Seeing Karian mount up on that giant wolf gets the gears in Gaffgarion's head turning. He doesn't mount up, no. In fact, he sends the chocobo away with another whistle. The moment gets Gaffgarion an axe in the shield! Thankfully, though it did penetrate the shield, it didn't cut off his arm. By whatever power in this Multiverse, he's still up and able to fight.

But as the wolf runs past him, he grabs onto its fur and starts climbing. He has to sheathe his sword for this, but no matter. What's he doing? He's trying to climb up the wolf...and then climb /Karian himself/, and attempt to deliver a few punches to the Wolf Lord's face.

Karian Icefang has posed:
r    Karian finds himsel scaled and fists reigning down onto his face. He says something to the wolf, who resonds by.....trying to ram Goffard and himself off by crashing into anything, enemy soldiers included! Karian, meanwhile, countered by throwing a few punches of his own, and if he could hook an arm around the sellsword, suplex him off the wolf.

Conor Delaney (67) has posed:
Conor sees ANOTHER god damn one of those Vanguards roll up. Now granted, Conor loves him some giant robots. He looks rather pleased at the sight of them. He is confident his powerful champion can deal with them. Until he sees rocket launchers. "Oh, balls." Then a moment in the linkshell makes him snarl. Why didn't they tell him earlier? He could have brought goblins. He could have been rolling these assholes. Instead, he has THREE on one. And none of his artifact hate.

People are gonna die. People are gonna die. You gotta help. You gotta save people. Conor says it over and over in his head. He shoves it into his brain. He needs to say it to himself to get his feet moving. So he can force his Champion out of the way. The blue gouts of magic slam him back down to the ground. He feels something painful crunch in there. SOmething hard that breaks. It probably shouldn't. He rolls onto his back, wincing, holding his side where the ribs might be broken. "Oh, god."

He reaches out carefully, pulling another card from his bracer and slapping it down. He can feel hot lances of pain all up and down his side. He turns several cards sideways and then puts one of the sleeved cards back onto the bracer. White Mana fountains up into another cleric, this one lightly armored and carrying a double crook. He lifts it high over head. "This isn't over! We can win this!" The cleric shouts, "They may have great evil machines, but we are many! WE ARE TRUE!"

With another of his people behind him, the Champion straightens up, and lets out a snarl as he flings himself at the wounded vanguard, now Greatsword shining high over his head as he brings it down at one of the vanguard's arms.

Tshallandria (216) has posed:
She was trying to be nice. Trying to let the non-aurics escape. All he had to do was be civil and hit a woman a few times. "..." But no... He had to go and spit in her face. Literally. "..." Tshallandria's eyes blaze brightly with incandescent rage, and the globule of spittle on her cheek, literally explodes, catching fire and burning away midair, "...Congratulations Raditz."

Her words are clipped, "I'm going to kill you now." That crystaline clarity in the air? It's gone now. Now it feels like there's an earthquake about to let loose, and the bloodlust? It's palpable. So much so that she doesn't even bother trying to dodge or defend herself, even after Raditzs fist smashes into her face, and the energy ball explodes, obscuring her figure for a moment.

Her left eye twiches, and then in one smooth motion she attempts to sheathe her sword. In Raditz's gut.

Goffard Gaffgarion (493) has posed:
Gaffgarion takes a bit of damage from the wolf's thrashing around, but manages to dodge most of Karian's fists. Sheer strength and leverage beats a Fell Knight's desperation attack though, and soon he feels one of the Wolf Lord's large arms hooked around his. He prepares for the being thrown, and thus, when he's finally thrown off, he reacts with a surprising amount of agility for a man his age in full plate.

...Is he... /laughing/ as Karian flings him away? He doesn't quite land on his feet, but he tucks his shield under and rolls with the momentum until he can get to his feet. Considering it's very possible he has a Thunderwolf with a Wolf Lord mounted on its back charging at him at this point, there's really no time for a lengthy casting time.

Instead he positions himself to try and get out of the way of the charge... only to try and rip a line down the wolf's side with the edge of his blade. It's odd, too... the blood-red blade will draw strength and energy from the wolf if it hits. And if it hits Karian's leg in the meanwhile? So much the better.

Gaius Van Baelsar (522) has posed:
Conor is badly injured and there are a few Conjurer's on field who are trying to keep up the magical barrier to defend the cannons being maned by the Maelstrom. One such Conjurer sees Conor go down and notices the pain on his face. She glances at the captain and he gives her a nod.

She quickly goes running over to Conor's side. "Let me help you..." Her magic can not fully fix a broken bone, but she at least get it back into some shape where it will mend naturally on its own and dull the pain. White-blue light flows from her hand as natural has the water or the air breathed, unless he stops her, she will try to at least get him back on his proper feet again.

She can't sadly do much for Conor's creations.

The Champion slams the sword into the Vanguard's already injured arm. It cleaves right in find thing nice sweet spot, the very sparks from the blade are enough to ignite the Ceruleum that moves within, and soon as the blade continues through, the Vanguard explodes into several pieces, leaving behind nothing but scrap being scattered across the backfield.

The Vanguard with the injured knee however lunges right in, moving to try and pierce both of its lances right into the mighty conjured creature. This though-- may not be the wisest of ideas.

Karian Icefang has posed:
Karian was about to shift and take the hit when Ygdril leaps OVER the blade aimed for him and lands safely. It looks over to the sellsword, growls loudly, and runs for Goffard. Even with Karian on him, Ygdril takes to the air and tries to pounce/maul.

Goffard Gaffgarion (493) has posed:
"....Fie."

That's about all the time Gaffgarion has to speak before there's a Thunderwolf bearing down on him. His shield's not much use here, even if it wasn't perforated. It keeps the massive wolf's claws from getting to his face, but shreds it in the process. Those claws dig into his shield arm, ripping through the armor like tinfoil.

More or less pinned under the wolf, there's really only one thing he can do. He makes a slice at the wolf's underbelly with his Blood Sword. Hit or miss, it should force the wolf to back off just enough for him to roll out form underneath. Hopefully with all his internal organs intact.

Raditz (486) has posed:
Well a sword in the gut kind of hurts. A lot.

Raditz takes it about as well as a man can take a sword to the gut, gritting his teeth a bit as he tries to breath without screaming in pain. He looks down and then looks back up, as he grunts in pain, "I regret... -Nothing-."

He in fact pushes himself forward now as he gathers energy into his hands, "Yeah... God of hell or heaven or wherever the crap you wanna call yourself... That means nothing... I've been dead, I've crawled out of hell, and I don't fear you."

With that, he growls and begins to throw a hail of energy blasts from point blank range at Tshallandria, without even trying to remove himself from the sword. That's not to say it doesn't hurt, but he's doing his very best to ignore it until he's sufficiently given the Alliance troops enough time to bail.

Conor Delaney (67) has posed:
Conor grunts as the magic flows through him, snapping his bones at least back into place. He wheezes out a cough, "Thanks. I don't know how much more I can do. There's too many of them." He has to explain to someone. "Random chance, you know. He can only do so much." He looks on at his Champion. His basic strategy is simple at this point. Sacrifice everyone. Everything in his deck, even himself, to protect the Champion as he gets bigger. This isn't working very well.

The Goldnight Commander throws his crook down in front of the double lances as the Champion regroups. Both lances rip right through him at the same time before he even gets a chance to attack. Conor winces, "Double strike." Gore flies from both wounds briefly before he explodes into more white mana. The Champion of the Parish brings his shield down in time to take the now weakened blow on his arm. He travels back with it, metal grinding and shrieking as it tears through the shield, ripping it to pieces, shredding the arm of the young man.

He looks weakened, sagging. Only to have Conor pulls out another Goldnight Commander and slap it down. A new shield reappears on the Champion of the Parish. Conor sags, "If I don't draw something good next turn, I think we might need to run." He looks on as the now massively clad Champion of the Parish throws himself on top of the drill Vanguard, driving his blade right into its middle. No funny stuff this time, just a straight run through the metallic 'heart'.

Karian Icefang has posed:
A while emits from the thunderwolf, which causes Karian to get VERY ANGRY. He dismounts the wolf, who moves away, and Starts literally trying to punch goffards face into oblivion. "NEVER HURT MY WOLF!" He roars, all his strength in his fist.

Goffard Gaffgarion (493) has posed:
With the shield useless, Gaffgarion abandons it and puts his focus on using his blade as a parrying blade as well. Which is good because he now has a pissed off Karian attempting to rip his face off. He pulls his sword up just in time to take the blow instead of his face. However, there's not a whole lot of blocking one can do with a blow like that. The shock from the strike still flashes through his arms with a burst of pain, and he hisses as he's thrown back by it.

"'Tis naught but a resource in battle," Gaffgarion replies. "In battle, present not resources you care for losing." Which might explain why he doesn't have his chocobo in this the way Karian had his wolf. "As said I previous, 'tis naught a personal matter." He has time to jabber, since Karian's blows tend to throw him quite a distance away. Time enough to call a bolt of lightning-- "Swirling bolts, gather and strike with power!"

Karian Icefang has posed:
Karian takes the hit, lightning striking but not doing too much. He moves to grab Goffard and SLAM him into the ground. "He's not a resource. He's my Friend, My COMPANION! MY BROTHER!" Roars the wolf lord. Yeah, attacking his wolf is a great way to sign a death warrent.

Gaius Van Baelsar (522) has posed:
The sword comes down and the Vanguard raises up both of its lance arms in attempt to block the blow. The sheer force slides the machine back, the blade cut across the lance-drill arms and cuts into the shoulder of the metal drone.

It goes to swing its arm to knock away the sword, though by doing that its leg nearly gives out under it causing the machine to stumble. That was a good sign! Though the one with the missiles is starting to move on in again.

Though as it does, it actually jogs across the distance and goes to try and slam its shoulder into the Champion to knock it back away from the one that has stumbled over. It was hard to say if it was doing that because the magitek drones had personality, or if its was just a logical choice given the situation.

As for when the Magitek explodes, if need be the Conjurer by Conor's side throws up a barrier to allow the parts to blink off of and then looks exhausted as she brings it down, her hand reaching to claps a medallion of some kind that she wears. "If you must escape, I can create a aetheric gate back to Aleport, where the others are regrouping.." She looks toward the raging battle before looking at him. "..you did your best and we are ever grateful for it.." She leaves her thoughts out of the fact he summons creatures from the aether, cause seriously-- these guys were Outsiders. They were already explained in advance their ways was not their own.

Tshallandria (216) has posed:
Tshallandria's lips pull back from her teeth in what could charitably be called a smile. One of those, I'm going to kill you, kinds of smile that you see in Hellsing a lot. "Fool." Her tone is scornful, "Regret means nothing. Only your actions, which have merited exactly what's going to happen next."

Not removing the sword? Well. She can do that for him, and because she wants to do it, it's only going to cost him half her normal surgeon's bill. That's fair? Right?

Of course, fair and nice, don't really need to go together very well, which is why Grace, her sword's, blade suddenly shifts to something more serrated and barbed then with a twist, and a wrench, she yanks it out of Raditz's gut... ...Just in time to take a heavy energy barrage at point blank range, and while a number of the bolts are deflected by her armor, a number aren't, and blasted metal fragments rain across the battlefield behind her as the sudden barrage of fire makes her stagger backwards a bit. "As to your words. I have seen the arrogance of a small man, who accords his foes with no respect, when they have already offered him the respect that his title deserves."

"Just as I slew the gods of old..." She shifts her blade to the side, and with a gesture slings Raditz's blood from it's suface, "So shall I destroy you."

Conor Delaney (67) has posed:
Conor draws a final card. One more card. He'll give it one more card. One more chance for him to fight back against the darkness. Let fate decide if he should run. He looks down at the next card. A plains. "Yea, I'm fucked." He stuffs the rest of the cards roughly into the bracer as he starts to stagger up to his feet. He reaches into his summoner's coat and pulls out his key rune, which can generate white and red mana on the fly. "Listen, I..." He grimaces, then tries to explain, "There's just nothing more I can do, okay. I'm not a coward, I just... don't want to die, that's all." He scowls. More at himself than her. "Come on. When I leave, he'll become aether again."

Conor looks back at the city. He tried. That's important, right? He tried. Heroes don't always win. Heroes can't always heroicially throw themselves onto the spikes.

Right?

The champion of the parish is starting to bleed from all over now as he is shoulder blocked away from the vanguard. He is stronger than it now, but there's still multiple to deal with. He staggers back up to his feet and puts himself between Conor and the Vanguards. He brings his sword up and rushes back in, shield down, prepared to die as Conor nods for the portal for their escape.

Goffard Gaffgarion (493) has posed:
If someone could hear Gaffgarion's mental dialogue at this point, it'd probably be a long stream of curses. Sadly, that's the only way he /can/ curse at this point, because he has an angry Wolf Lord with a very large hand locked around his throat! Only by sheer virtue of his gorget's strength is his throat not crushed. However, the slam to the ground breaks some ribs, and he emits a choked-sounding grunt that in no way covers the cracking sound.

"...Damn it..." Gaffgarion pulls himself back, out of the Wolf Lord's immediate range, and whistles. Which clearly causes him some pain. Within a few seconds, his black chocobo charges towards where Karian is standing over Gaffgarion and spits a stone at the larger man, warking angrily for the Wolf Lord to back away. It's not meant as a damage-dealing attack, merely as a sign to back away. In that time, Gaffgarion manages to get himself mounted on the bird.

He clutches his ribs with his shredded arm, giving a wince. Another whistle to Melody-- ow ow ow ow-- and the bird warks loudly, flapping her wings to take to the air. Nope, no parting comment from the Fell Knight. Though to be fair, given the grimace on his face he's probably in too much pain for that.

Raditz (486) has posed:
Oh god the pain. So much pain. The sword is drawn out ever so painfully causes him to crumple to the ground, at least briefly. He's now bleeding profusely, and it's just coming out from his mouth and gut and all over. This was probably more than enough, as his hair begins to sort of flicker dark. A sign that he's running out of the ability to fight.

But then he pushes himself back up to his feet, and sucks in a breath heavily, as he glares upon Tshallandria, and says, "You know, Tshallandria... You kind of remind me of me a tiny bit, at least how I used to be... The cowardly blowing up of people who can't fight back part... But also the lying, and the hypocrisy... 'Respect' goes a long way, and I don't care how much you've earned from the rest of the Multiverse, you never earned any from me... You could kill me anytime, but you're just toying with me. You could have shot me from the sky right at the start... Being your entertainment isn't respect, you twisted freak."

He shifts his stance and gathers energy into his hands cupped at his side, "No... If you -really- want my respect..."

He growls and yells out, "THEN FIGHT ME WITH EVERYTHING YOU GOT!! AND IF YOU CAN'T KILL ME, I'LL RETURN IT A HUNDRED TIMES OVER!!"

He roars and begins to gather vast amounts of energy into his hands, "KAAAAAA.... MEEEEEEE...." The ball of energy expands rapidly, "HAAAAAA... MEEEEEEE...."

He grits his teeth and thrusts his palms out at Tshallandria, firing off a massive beam of energy at her, "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!"

Gaius Van Baelsar (522) has posed:
The Conjurer gives him a warm smile, she understands, she shows she understands with that smile. "You did what you could. The Twelve will help us soon enough. I know this." She then places out her hand and then pulls on the threads of aether. It seems to take a great deal of focus and concentration to do this.

"Go. Now."

Once Conor jumps through, the gate closes, but he will find it was not only a one way trip to the Aleport, but the Conjurer did not come with him. He would find other Maelstrom there working to fortify Aleport and an very tall elf-like woman meets him as he arrives. If he accepts, she will lead him to the area where they are sending the injured to be tended too.

What happened to that Conjurer? Only time will tell...

As for the Vanguard it will move to attack, but if Conor's words are correct, it will attack thin air and probably crash into the very ground cause there was nothing there to catch itself upon.

The battle meanwhile continues to rage, the Maelstrom are finding themselves being pushed back. Several have to leap through the aether gates the Conjurers are creating.

The Garleans on the hill side are messing with the Magitek Lancer, seeming to be equpping a nuzzle upon it. That was-- until another Garlean in heavy armor, much like the Centurions steps up to them and places out his hand. His armor was the same, beyond a bit more heavier and a shield of some kind on his arm.

It would seem whatever they were planning was canceled for that group and they were being sent back to behind the lines.

Those near Raditz and Tshallandria suddenly clear the area when a warning comes in over the line. They just haul those armored buns out of there, a few catching a ride on the Magitek Armors cause screw that shi!

Tshallandria (216) has posed:
Tshallandria frowns at Raditz, it's sort of a frown of pity, and a frown of disgust. "You're a fool Saiyan. I told you to fight me for a reason. I gave you every chance to help them survive, but instead..." The twisting and whirling air of the battlefield suddenly forms into massive tornado behind the Saiyan, "...You took something that was meant to be a battle between two warriors and spit in my face. Should they have the intelligence to retreat, I had every intention of letting them escape from the start."

"And you're aboslutely right. I could have leveled this entire battlefield in a moment. I could have stepped forward, and fought with every ounce of my strength, and in doing so... ...I would have created a rally point. Another reason for them to step up and fight for their newly deceaced hero."

She steps forward, as Raditz starts to scream during his powerup, "I wanted to look big and scary and impressive so the little fools would retreat, I wanted to a nice explosive battle that would make them run for cover, rather then get in the way of the giants in the playground." She clenches her left hand, and then with a sudden blazing stroke of her sword Grace, parries the massive energy bolt headed her way up into clouds ... Or well. She manages the parry, deflecting it upwards before it explodes, wreathing her in energy, and blasting large chunks of her armor clear of their fight... ...But when the smoke clears, she's still standing. Bleeding from a number of cuts, visibly burnt, charred and smoking, but still standing.

Still advancing. "Instead you didn't want to play along. You wanted to make it personal." The left side of her mouth ticks several times, "I didn't want to kill you either, because I knew you were outclassed at the onset." Her eyes narrow, "Just about everyone in the damn Union has fought me at some point, and very few of them can even manage a draw, but you, did you even bother to ask on the tactical bands, to find out about your opponent?"

The tornado behind Raditz is suddenly shot with hellfire from the clouds above, and burning magma from the ground below, "No. You didn't. Or we wouldn't be here, and you," The next words are spit out venemously, "Wouldn't be about to die."

With that she charges forward and grabs for Raditz attempting to pick him up by his neck and literally carry and hold him in the twisting tornado of infernal fire behind him.

Raditz (486) has posed:
Fire is bad, quite bad. There's a small part of Raditz's mind that's telling him that he could have avoided all this, if he had decided to not to pour the proverbial accellerant upon himself and set himself on fire. That's a thing that stupid people do. In other news, ow this fucking hurts.

Raditz finds himself blasted off right into the air from the burning and the pain, and crashing back down to the ground with a thud.

There are several moments where the Saiyan is just not moving, his hair fading to darkness... It seems he must be either dead or at the very least utterly unconscious, and open for the killing blow.

And then, the Saiyan moves, pushing himself back to his feet, climbing back up and gritting his teeth as he once more focuses and his aura burns gold once more, as does his hair. He is battered, burned, and bleeding, but his will isn't broken...

He turns and sucks in a breath painfully, as he growls and limps back towards Tshallandria, gripping his arm which might possibly be broken, before bringing himself right up to her, and proceeding to swing with his good arm, wailing at Tshallandria relentlessly, "I'm... NOT... Dead yet!" Swing... Swing... Swing.

Tshallandria (216) has posed:
Tshallandria looks on Raditz as he climbs to his feet and advances on her, "No. You are not dead yet." Her eyes narrow as Raditz limps in her direction, and her blade sweeps through the air, meeting his attacks with the flat knocking them aside. Before she snarls, and the air around her, runes briefly coming into existence around her body, in a vaugely spiritual and occultic fashion before she sighs and visibly forces herself to relax.

"...This..." She steps forward, and just tries to slug Raditz in the side of the head with her left gauntlet, "...Is not as satisfying as I expected." She eyes him for a moment longer before she steps back, "Fool. Go. For the memory of your brother, and the battles that we enjoyed together... Leave this place, and should we meet on the field again. Accord me with the respect that I deserve, or our next meeting will be your last."

Raditz (486) has posed:
Raditz takes the swing to his head, and blinks for a bit before shaking his head clear of the cobwebs and mutters, "No... You're not leaving this fight like this..." He grows and follows limping after Tshallandria, "Come on, I thought you were going to kill me! Get on with it!" He roars, "I TOLD YOU TO GIVE ME EVERYTHING YOU GOT!! FINISH THE FIGHT!!" It might just be equal parts blunt trauma, blood loss, and sheer stubbornness, but Raditz isn't backing down.

He growls and glares at Tshallandria, "FINISH ME, DAMMIT!"

Tshallandria (216) has posed:
"Finish you?" She gazes at him for a long moment, before she gestures, and the ground under Raditz just opens, probably dropping him to somewhere unknown... ...Or judging from the sound of the rushing water below, probably just an aquifer that leads out to Costa de Sol. "I think we're already done here."

Raditz (486) has posed:
And thus, the anticlimax of Raditz's life. Off he goes to Costa Del Sol.

Gaius Van Baelsar (522) has posed:
The Maelstrom have quickly started to pull out, the devastation to the area is massive. The Garleans though march right on in as Airships that have pulled away, start to come back in. Spot lights from the airships scan the area and any Maelstrom that still stands finds themselves coming under a barrage of fire-- none strike them, but it was enough to get the point across.

This area was now under the control of the Garlean Empire and they don't take long to start to get a fortification setup, given there was now a lack of a place to do so.

The Garlean Empire is the winner of this Capture Point...
