The Wild Is A Dangerous Place
Date of Scene:	29 March 2015
Location:	Pokemon Islands - Johto
Synopsis:	This is what happens when you go into tall grass as a Digimon in a Pokemon Island. You upset the local wildlife!

Duke has posed:
The Guilmon X was out enjoying the nice afternoon walk around the forest, that was until some wild dog pokemon decided that they were tired of the strange creature in their territory. This is when someone at an old country road may suddenly see a strange red lizard going running across the road, with near panic in his eyes, as then right behind him is at least five to maybe seven dog pokemon right on his tail.

The only word the old man heard being yelled from the Digimon was: "What did I do to deserve thiiiiiss!!!" Which became the next confusion as to when did Pokemon talk--- and somewhere, in some universe, a Meowth of a Team Rocket sneezes.

Alexis has posed:
The stray digimon being chased by a pack of Poochyena and Mightyena probably isn't going to be the last strange thing the old man along the road is going to see today.

A few moments later he's passed again, this time by a Gogoat running full tilt. Okay, kind of unusual because that is a Pokemon not native to this part of the islands, but certainly not weird per say.

The Gogoat is however using it's vines not to attack but for Alexis to hold onto in one hand like a water skiier. Expect instead of skiing she's using her roller blades, pigtails waving about behind her as they try to close in on the pack of wolf-mon from behind. "Dangit Duke, I told you not to go into the -really- long grass for no reason!"

GoGo Tomago (736) has posed:
Being part of a delivery service means that GoGo is rather conveniently nearby when all the yelling and screaming start. She sighs and looks up from the clip-board she was getting signed. "Sorry Prof, Gotta jet! And I'm not sure why you had to ask if I was a boy or a girl." she mutters as she claps her helmet on. "Let's Woman Up!" she says as she zooms off to the rescue.

Duke has posed:
The old man suddenly watches the pokemon run by, but blinks a few times as the young woman goes by with roller blades and he just scratches the back of his head. "...It has to be the sun." Which is about the time GoGo goes by and the old man just slumps. "Yep. The sun."

As for the Poochyenas and Mightyenas chasing Duke, they snap their teeth at his tail, and he just leaps right up in the air, which as he flips slightly perhaps thinking about maybe fireballing a few of these dog pokemon in the face he catches sight of Alexis, "...Alexis..? ALEXIS!" Yet that momentary distraction was not a good, as Duke lands down roughly and rolls down the grassy hill before coming to a dead stop as he slides into a tree.

The Pokemon slide down and go to surround the intruder to their world, snarling and yelping away as wild pokemon do. Duke pushes himself up and stares at all the Pokemon around him. Those gold eyes flicker blue for a moment, "Go away! Shoo!" He then waves out his large claw at one of them, for it to lunge at him with its sharp teeth trying to bite his paw claw hand. "No!"

Duke tries to pull away and then spins his body around to slap it aside with his tail, however the others take chance at this and go to lunge in toward the Digimon's backside while its turned to them...

GoGo Tomago (736) has posed:
GoGo thinks for a long moment... And then gives a sharp, piercing whistle. "HERE BOYS!" she yells as she scoots up. She waves one of her discs back and forth, back and forth... "Who wants it? Who wants it!?" she asks, bouncing around to get, and hopefully keep, their attention. "GOGETIT!" she yells, hurling the disc through the air off to the side.

Alexis has posed:
Well at least that got them to stop running so much and easier to catch. "They're just territorial. Smack 'em hard enough and they'll run off again!" As she says that Alexis lets go of the vines.

Not that it stops her Gogoat from its charge. Quite the opposite as he lowers his head and puts that momentum into plowing into the pack of dogs horns first.

Ferham (516) has posed:
     Ferham had heard the last message by Duke, of course, though she'd been a bit slow in getting out here. For a high-performance model, you'd think she could move faster, likely was the inconvenience of the location. Then there was the time it took to locate the 'mon running through the forest like that, and well... yeah. Duke could be a tricky individual to track down.

     Descending to the forest floor quickly, she angled herself down through the trees in her winged armor, eventually coming to rest on the ground, looking up. "Duke! are you there?!" she had no idea where in the immediate area he /was/, yet...

Duke has posed:
GoGo got some of the younger Poochyena's attention and they paid attention to the object all right, until she threw it. They watched it get thrown and one of them tilted its head, before they looked at her. Then with a low growl, they charged after her! At least that was a few off Duke.

As the Gogoat charged through several more, it made a clearing and knocked aside the ones who were about to jump on Duke's back. Actually Duke right about then spun around and with a hissing growl, he /almost/ hit the Gogoat with his sharp claws, thankfully he realized it who it was. "uh--Uh! Alexis!" He takes notice of the other girl and then hears Ferham's voice in the distance.

He would call to her as well, but that is when a Mightyena goes for a leap and pounces on him directly, he roars out in pain as it actually bites down on his neck. Those gold eyes narrow down to slits as they also take on a blue glow.

Anything digital near by /might/ suddenly go on the fritz for a moment, crazy code that made no sense, before there was a glow of light around Duke and then that Mightyena? It yelps as the sudden glow and transformation shoves it right off, and with a deep rumbling roar that shakes the trees, it causes not only the Poochyenas and the Mightyenas to come to a near halt moving into a defensive posture but any wild pokemon around that area seems to feel the tremble of the roar.

The Growlmon X shakes his head, that white mane of hair bristled up as he snarls those sharp fanged teeth. The gold eyes narrowed down to draconic slits and his tail whipping back and forth behind him. Yet the Mightyena rolls back up to its feet and releases a howl in defiance, before charging right back for the Growlmon X.

Alexis may hear more howls in the distance, before rustling of grass near by. Just what did Duke to piss these guys off anyways? Steal their lunch? Did insult one of their mom's? Or was it cause he was an outsider monster.... would that even matter?

As for those other Poochyenas, they growl, snap their teeth at the Gogoat and GoGo, a few even give Alexis the evil eye.

Alexis has posed:
Actually that last one could be pretty accurate. Despite the 'yena in there names the canid pokemon were really wolves, which meant they were very territorial. Duke could of done absolutely nothing but be there and if it was the wrong spot they'd be just as fiercely protective.

"Don't be afraid to rough them up a little," Alexis asides to GoGo, even as she's eyeing the 'yenas eyeing her. "They're pokemon, they can take it. Just try not to kill 'em or anything."

And then snags a different ball off her belt and throws it at the dogs piling on top of the goat. "Teach 'em a lesson Won Ton."

"Paaangorroooo!" The panda hits the ground with a thump, grabs the nearest Mightyena off of the Gogoat, and -heaves- it off into the treeline with Storm Throw.

GoGo Tomago (736) has posed:
GoGo Tomago shrugs and reaches for her disc as it comes whirling back. Ah well. Best to get right down to it. The young woman leaps into the fray, discs bouncing between dogs with sharp cracks of flesh and bone.

Ferham (516) has posed:
     "Duuuke!" Ferham is able to locate the Guilmon X just before, well--that mightyena sunk his teeth into his neck. Oh damn, am I too late? Fer might be thinking, though she's also likely quite puzzled at just what was going on. Was Duke trying to protect these people from the wild dog looking creatures...?

     "Careful, he's--" Fer was trying to utter a warning to Gogo to watch out really, for everyone's safety, but then well, Duke hulks out, and the remaidner of the dogs menace GoGo and Alex. There is a sharp crack as Ferham's whip is unfurled and snapped against a nearby tree, as if in a warning.

Duke has posed:
Maybe Alexis should be telling this to Duke, who just takes those sharp teeth of his against the Mightyena who is acting as pack leader and just bites down, /hard/. The Mightyena kicks against the primal Digimon's face and then a dark aura comes from the alpha pokemon dog as it slams into the Digimon knocking it back.

The Mightyena gets up and shakes it body, before snarling at the Digimon, its fur bristling up as the Growlmon X gets back up and snarls back.

Won Ton is summoned out by Alexis and gets his buddy freed from the Mightyena, tossing the pokemon away. A few of the smaller pokemon growl and snarl, but they start to back away, yet then they go to lunge at them both, trying to crush down on them with their teeth and bite at their ankles. Though a few can be seen running off.

Gogo's disc goes flying between a few of the dog pokemon and they yelp as the disc bounces against them, knocking them off their feet and head over doggy paws. Their is yelping, whining, and soon the Pokemon are running from Gogo with their tails between their legs.

When Ferham's whip snaps a near by tree, several of the Mightyenas and Poochyenas that were about to attack look up at her, those ears going up, before they snarl at her. Yet the Alpha took his eyes off Duke and that was a mistake.

The Growlmon X had flames licking around his maw and looked ready to blast out a very hot magma flame right for the group in front of him, all to end this once and for all...

Alexis has posed:
"I know!" Alexis answers the unspoken part of Ferham's warning. Ironically now it was the 'yenas that were in danger more than being dangerous.

And don't seem the even realize it, if they don't just -get out-. "Brushguard, make them LEAVE." The Gogoat digs his hooves in to brace himself, then with a good shake sends numerous Seed Bomb clusters at the 'yenas to get them running.

As for the other problem... "Sigh... Please stop Duke before he does something he'll regret later."

For being a brutish build the Pangoro can move fairly quickly when he wants to. In this case, by jumping at the Growlmon and trying to knock him to the ground with his own bulk and a well placed Quash technique to delay the digimon from attacking.

GoGo Tomago (736) has posed:
GoGo Tomago whistles to herself as she skates rapidly between the dogs. The ones who aren't getting disced are getting treated to 200mph punches. Over the short-range radio, she grins... "This isn't so bad. I dunno why people think these Pokemans are so uber."

Ferham (516) has posed:
     "Well, looks like those dogs were more bark than bite," Ferham said silkily, her whip's cable retracting swiftly back into the handle, putting it away. "Are you two okay?" Ferham looked over to Alexis, then to GoGo, clearly not having seen the two before. She strutted closer, her legs shifting close together, regarding both the females and Duke silently for a moment.

     "I just hope he's still got himself under control..." she bit her lower lip, leaning back a bit as that spitfire leapt from Duke's jaws.

Duke has posed:
The flames continued to build and those gold primal eyes glowed bright blue, Duke was about to unleash a very devastating attack...

Gogo with the Gogoat were able to chase off the remaining though before this could happen, and with Alexis' other pokemon, the punch slammed into the side of the Digimon's head who let out a roar, flames blasting out a bit with it-- but at least not directed at anything.

Duke slams down onto the ground and snarls a little, he shakes his head as he huffs out some flames. Those primal gold eyes look at all five here, There was a growl, a show of teeth, but after a few huffs, a low rumble as he closed his eyes and pulled back his head. He started to regain some control, but it wasn't easy, that much was obvious. "Need to... get out off... this form." He rumbles. "I am... sorry for... trouble."

Alexis has posed:
Alexis lets out a quick sigh of relief as it sounds like Duke (literally) had some sense knocked back into him. Won Ton lets out of soft growl and cracks his knuckles quite audible, but she waves him back. "Not unless he needs it again."

Then looks back to Duke. "Do I even want to know how you got an entirely pack of wolf pokemon trying to chase you down?"

GoGo Tomago (736) has posed:
GoGo Tomago circles Duke for a moment, then looks over at Alexis... She thinks for a few seconds... "Maybe he smelled like bacon?" she asks, leaning in and giving a deep sniff.

Ferham (516) has posed:
     "Likely they thought he was invading their territory," Ferham struts closer, that whip of hers out again as she gives it a few cracks and makes sure Duke is paying attention, like some kind of lion tamer. "You need to calm down, remember what I told you, your mantra, try and repeat it until you're more calm!" her voice is not shouting or scolding, but defintiely a bit commanding. She needed Duke to listen and pay attention to her.

Duke has posed:
Duke tries to explain, but its hard, his pupils are trying to thin back out and he gives his head a hard shake. He huffs out some more smoke, as Gogo gets in closer. The young lady will find he smells kinda like a lizard, but there is an odd-- ozone smell to him. Like plasma or high charge of energy.

When Ferham cracks her whip, his eyes focus on her and he snarls his teeth for a moment, but fights back going any further hostile then that, he closes his eyes and tries to focus, but its doing no good, but he does try to answer Alexis question again, "Territory." Yeah, that about answers it.

"This is... this is... no good... can't... think..." He raises up his large claws to his head as he huffs out some more smoke. "Need room!" Devices may go crazy again, as his body starts to glow and digital grid lines can be seen moving over his body. Gogo will need to get back, because that six foot five Digimon is suddenly increasing in size and the digital data is actually reconstructing parts around him. This is a form, so far-- neither of his 'teachers' have seen yet.

Gogo or if any of the ladies, have the senors for it, probably will notice a sudden rise in energy levels and may even pick up on the sudden data shift as it started to reform back into a physical, living being.

GoGo Tomago (736) has posed:
GoGo Tomago starts backflipping out of the way, her wheels spinning rapidly as she skates backwards. "What the fuck!?" she yells, as she shifts backwards, WELL out of the way. "What the hell is he becoming?"

Alexis has posed:
"Shit." Alexis quickly backs up, making her pokemon quickly follow her. She at least gets the idea of what's about to happen from what she already knows. "Back up, give him room. I think he's evolving again!"

Ferham (516) has posed:
     Ferham blinked as she stepped back, a good two paces from Duke, as he seems to be causing electronics around him to get some /funky/ readings. "Duke! Your energy, it's increasing, try and keep yourself under control! Just listen to the sound of my voice!" Fer looked over to the other girls, frowning. "You... better get back a little bit, I think he's going to blow!"

Duke has posed:
Once the digital field ends and blasts up into the air causing the clouds to actually ripple for a moment, a much larger form is before them all. Fifteen feet tall to be exact. It was a cybernetic body of heavy upper armor, robotic jaw and head pieces, massive back thrusters, blades along the arms and three prong claws with a type of barrel in the center.

The tail moved side to side, with his head down low. Those massive feet claws digging into the ground, as his white-blue hair flickers with electrical energy for a moment. Then with a whirl of parts, his head slowly rises up as those gold eyes snap open, looking down at all three of them. There was weapon platforms across his chest and also what looked like a more larger size cannon in the center of his chest.. As he spoke, he spoke with a mechanic sound to his voice. "I had no choice, it was either evolve or--- be knocked out. I took the best choice."

He looked to Ferham, then to Alexis, before looking to Gogo. He stared at the new face for a moment before he spoke, "Hello, I am sorry if I scared you." Yeah, don't apologize to the other two, Duke.

GoGo Tomago (736) has posed:
GoGo Tomago stops... And stares... "WELL... That's interesting." she says, shaking her head. "And you're not going to go crazy and try to eat us, are you?"

Alexis has posed:
Won Ton emits a snort that almost sounds like disappointment at not getting to try the 'knocked out' option, but Alexis elbows the panda-mon in the side to make him calm down. Then ticks off on her fingers for a moment. "Well, this means I've seen all your forms now at least. Unless your world has some weird alternate alternate ones. I dunno, it's hard keeping track of which digimon world is which."

Ferham (516) has posed:
     "Well, that happened," Ferham gulped a little, her whip retracting again as she clicked it off, quickly making it disappear. Peering up at Duke now, she gives him a little wave. "I wasn't really going to hit you with it, Duke, you believe me, right?" she grinned a bit hesitantly, suddenly looking quite sheepish, grinning like that--and suddenly acting innocent.

Duke has posed:
The War Growlmon X cants his head slightly before there is a mild mechanical chuckle. "No. I do not eat people. I have better clarity like this and not so... primitive." He closes his eyes. "Though I can still feel the rage dwelling down deep." Those eyes snap back open as he looks to Alexis, "I don't think so?" Those large mechanic shoulders of his shrug. "But given how scrambled my data is..."

The Digimon then looks to Ferham as she acts all nervous, he lowers himself down, way down and just stares at her. That muzzle of his could probably easy just--- bite her and she be gone. There is amusement in his eyes though, "I am sure /you/ wouldn't." A bit of playful sarcasim in his words, before he rises back up and then crouches down. "I am sorry Alexis for disobeying your orders. I was... chasing an instinct." Though he looks to Gogo, "But who is our guest? I take it you never seen a Digimon before?"

Alexis has posed:
Alexis gives it a dismissive wave. "I'm a terrible person when it comes to sticking to exact 'orders' myself... You just need to remember that you're not native around here. Wild pokemon are gonna act.. well..." She just waves in the direction most of the 'yena pack ran off.

GoGo Tomago (736) has posed:
GoGo Tomago shakes her head and looks up. "So what... You're going to stay like this forever or something?" she asks the giant dinosaur lizard thing.

Ferham (516) has posed:
     "She's right, Duke, you have to be careful of other creatures with abilities like that, they could have hurt you--if well, you hadn't been able to transform," Ferham sighed a little, coming closer and tentatively putting a hand on the nearest bit of Duke she could, hoping she could help calm him.

Duke has posed:
Duke nods his head ever so slightly, "Understood," He says to Alexis then looks back to Gogo, "I wish I could, so far I have only been able to figure out how to hold my adult form longer then twenty four hours... I imagine at some point my energy levels will tank and I will degenerate back to my child form." He sounds a bit sad to this. "My data is damaged, you see. It is.. a long story..."

When Ferham places her hand against him, he doesn't move away, he simply moves his much larger tail around and rests it on the ground near her. It was a very instinctive action it seems as he was not even aware as he continued to speak to Gogo, "You still have not told me your name, but let me introduce myself. I am Duke... normally a Guilmon X, but I Digivolve to a Growlmon X, War Growlmon X-- the form you see before you and.... Medieval Dukemon..." His voice trails a bit there, his eyes looking a bit distance before they focus once more.

GoGo Tomago (736) has posed:
GoGo Tomago blinks and stares at Duke... "So what... You just... spontaneously evolve sometimes? Into a more powerful form? Damn son, what do you eat for breakfast?"

Alexis has posed:
Alexis snickers a little at GoGo's reaction. Nudges the other tomboy with her elbow, figuring she missed the name request in her awe. "He asked who you were... And kind of.. it's more of a situation and having a lot of energy type of things. When he burns up that energy, he turns back into his basic form -- the one we were originally trying to rescue." Before having to rescue the wolves from him, kind of.

GoGo Tomago (736) has posed:
GoGo Tomago blinks and shakes her head. "Sorry. I'm GoGo Tomago. I come from San Fransokyo." she says.

Duke has posed:
Duke tilts his head faintly and nods to Alexis explanation. "She is correct, though normally Digimon evolve to their high stages to display their age and do not degenerate, unless something horrific has taken place to force their data to nearly reset." His voice softens a bit. "For myself... I believe I was nearly killed and it has not only damaged my data where I can't easily hold my forms, it also has stripped me of my memory--- or at least---- disconnected it from easy access."

Duke hms gently at Gogo's explanation. "It is a pleasure to meet you Gogo from.. San Fran...sis...co?" That world seems to be giving him some trouble as he lets out a digitized rumble in mild frustration.

GoGo Tomago (736) has posed:
She sighs and shakes her head. "Nonono. San. Fran. So. Key. Oh." she says, carefully enunciating.

Alexis has posed:
"Think of it as a hard drive being massively fragmented. That's the easiest way to try and put it," Alexis summarizes with a shrug of her shoulders.

Duke has posed:
"San Fran Soy.. key...co?" Duke tries and narrows his eyes as he tries again, "So... Key.. Co?" Pause, "Oh?" There was then a loud snap of those metal jawed teeth of his, as if stretching out his jaw, then tries one more time. "San Fran Sokeyoh." It wasn't right, but it was closer, right. "Nrrggrrr. I am sorry for destroying the name of your home. It seems maybe some of the damage from the fight damaged my ability to vocalize some words."

GoGo Tomago (736) has posed:
GoGo Tomago waves a hand. "'Salright. You got as close as you can, and I can't blame you. That must have been ridiculously traumatic."

Alexis has posed:
Alexis coughs softly into one fist. "I hate to break up your nature walk Duke, but you should probably get somewhere you're less... y'know... visible?" She really has to look up at him now, and she's not exactly short in the first place. "I don't really want to see the damage of what else your size and power now could draw out thinking you're a threat." Pause. Snort. "Or Team Rocket thinking you're some new undiscovered pokemon."

Duke has posed:
Something clicks in Duke's head as he looks at Alexis. There was a tail flick. "When did you learn so much about Digimon?" He narrows his eyes. "Must been some conversation you and Doran had." Was he suspicious still about all that? Maybe a little.

Duke then looks back to Gogo, "I suppose it was. I do not remember. I wish I did. I am plagued by nightmares that cut in and out. Visions of places I should know, but do not know the names of. Voices that... sometimes make me feel... alone."

Though When Alexis brings up he is visible and should relocate, his eyes go a bit wide as a flicker manages in those pupils of his. "Oh! Oh right!" He then extends out his arms. "Climb on. I can take us back to the ranch... maybe it will burn off excess energy enough that I will Degenerate. Though... I will be expecting a large meal for the payment of Duke air-express."

Alexis has posed:
Alexis is use to riding monsters, so she just laughs a bit as she climbs up. Hey the metal platform actually makes for a pretty good seating arrangement. "You are so lucky I have to stock for huge appettites as it is."

GoGo Tomago (736) has posed:
GoGo, on the other hand, is content to be a speeddemon all on her lonesome, and skates along beneath the rest of them.

Duke has posed:
Duke rises up and looks to Alexis with his gold eye at where she perches. "Good because I have a feeling I'm going to be starving." He then notes that Gogo is going to run it and with a heavy step and then a shove off, with thrusters igniting which kicks up lose grass leaves and almost knocks over trees, the Fifteen foot digimon is airborne, heading for the Ranch.

He could travel fast, but honestly--- he is just going to enjoy the flight, which Alexis may notice while up there with him, he looks actually for once at peace.

Alexis has posed:
Alexis was going to say something to GoGo, but Duke suddenly -taking off- distracts her. At least she's got quick reaction time and grabs on before he leaves the ground. "Holy crap you can fly in this form!"

Duke has posed:
As he soars through the sky going above the tree tops, he moves up just a touch higher, but careful of how high up and how fast due to Alexis. "Yes... and I love it. I think..." Duke's eyes dim slightly in thought. "I think I use to fly all the time, maybe under the stars. When the moon was full and it was peaceful." There is a glint of serenity in his gold eyes, yet also a touch of sadness. "...It hurts to also think about it... in my core..."

It would not be long till they land however and as soon has they do, his thrusters lower him down easily with his heavy feet impacting the ground gently as he could, but yet-- it was still leaving an imprint in the ground. He crouches down and allows Alexis to climb down by his arm, but his gold eyes are almost flickering. As if he is losing some power.

Alexis has posed:
Not the first giant sized footprints that are going to need be filled in. Remember some of the other big things Alexis does tend to ride around on. "Can't say I blame you. It's relaxing and a lot less traffic." She turns and slides down his back and tail to get off. "How you feelin' big guy? That had to take up a bit of juice."

GoGo Tomago (736) has posed:
GoGo Tomago zooms up, not even a second later. "Well well well! Good to know that there's SOMEONE who can keep up with me!" she says with a smirk.

Duke has posed:
Duke grunts as his nearly leans over to on side. "Power levels critical. Degeneration shortly, but...it was a nice flight. Nrrhh.." There was a soft glow around him, before nearly falling onto the ground or onto Alexis was the small four foot Guilmon X once more. "I... I really wish I could hold onto those forms... I hate how... foggy my head gets..."

Alexis has posed:
Alexis reachs over to pat Duke as she helps him back onto his feet. "Give it time. Trying to rush into too much power at one time is just going to make the feral outbursts more likely. Part of keeping those forms is learning -how-."

GoGo Tomago (736) has posed:
GoGo Tomago stretches a bitand pats Duke as well... "Well, I think you'll be alirhgt."

Alexis has posed:
"Yeah, he'll be fine. Now that he's back to this size just a good meal and some rest will have him back in order. By the way." She gave a nod in the other girl's direction. "Name's Alexis, if you didn't catch it before. Though heard you on the radio a few times already. Nice..." She glanced down at GoGo's boots for a moment. "Skates? Not sure what you call 'em with one wheel."

Duke has posed:
Duke was helped up by Alexis and his ear fins go back a bit. There was a mild lost look in his eyes. "The... last time I took that form was to face off with Beelzebumon." He admits before closing his eyes softly. "He nearly took me down in it... and I was able to evolve to my Ultimate... but I-- I can't figure why out of all of them, I can't access that one." He growls softly. "So... Frustrating!" However he calms down with Gogo also pats his shoulder.

The tired Digimon looks at her, "Your nice. I like you... maybe some time we can play, like... spar. You seem pretty tough and stuff."

GoGo Tomago (736) has posed:
"Probably not as tough as you! But I'm fast and I almost always hit. I'm not the strongest around, but I wear my opponents down by outmanuevering them!"

Alexis has posed:

Alexis continues to hold words of wisdom, but its easy to see in how Duke lowers his head and the ear fins stay back, it isn't what he wants to hear. His shoulders tense up as he closes his eyes, words of last night echoing in his ears. Maybe they were right... maybe he should just stop trying to remember and move on with a new life, but how could he? How could he get past all the nightmares? All the hidden, internal pain--- pain he doesn't even understand.

It is only when Gogo speaks up, does Duke raise up his head and his ear fins perk up slightly, but there was tears in his eyes. Tears wanting to come out, "I'd... I'd still like to spar you, Gogo. Maybe... maybe I could learn something from taking on a really fast opponent." He tries to smile. He really does, before he looks away from them both, as he start to walk toward the barn. "So.. food. I could try to cook again." Like that go over well.

"You're going to stay right here and rest. Spikes is likely already working on something." Alexis cut off that idea really quickly. The kitchen is bad enough when Nova tries to cook as it is! "Fighting someone that focuses on speed might teach you a thing or two. That sort of opponent takes precision over brute strength."

Duke nods gently, "Probably for the better, Spike is a good cook." He looks to Gogo. "You'll really like his cooking too! And the fastest huh?" He is trying to cheer up. Really! Then he looks back over to Alexis, "Yeah... that... that may help deal with Beelzebumon too." He growls softly. "I want to beat him so badly, Alexis. He knows stuff. I want to know what he knows! He knows who I am... just... just he is jerk and keeping it from me."

"Doesn't someone have the right to know? When they... when they been trying to figure themselves out for this long? O.r..." Duke lowers his head as his ear fins go back, "...Or maybe I should give up trying to solve who I am..."

Alexis turns to give Duke's shoulder a firm but good-natured swat. "No. Don't start thinking like that or you're gonna just defeat yourself before you start... But you shouldn't just cling to the past, either. Nothing says you have to give it up to go forward, either."

Alexis swats Duke's shoulder and he winces under it. One eye closes and his ear fins go back, "..maybe its because I don't know how to go forward, because I've always been chasing images I can't piece together." He huffs softly, "But... but we'll get through this... I'll get through this. I've done pretty good so far, right?" Poor Gogo, he slightly realizes this and rubs the back of his neck as he looks over to her, "Sorry... this... is probably all confusing for you, huh?"

Alexis has posed:
Alexis trots off for the barn/loft apartment. "I'll go see what Spike's got for chow, be back in a couple of minutes. You two can get aquainted."

Alexis laughs a bit at that as she hops up the outdoor stairs. She's had her share of visits to Equestria. "No... though this one is also purple and kind of prickly."

Duke has posed:
"Spike is a Nidoking!" Duke explains to Gogo, trying to get himself in a bit better mood. "He is very friendly and very huggable." The Digimon looks at her, "So what do you do for fun?"

Duke ahs softly, "Allot of people do... reading... for fun." He snorts softly, as he pulls the barn door open and goes to flop down on a makeshift bed, hanging his head upside down to look at her. "I like comics. Does that count? I want to be that hero one day that saves people! Fight against my attribute!"

Duke stills keeps his head upset, his eyes look a little distant about then, older really. "Yeah... I guess so..." His eyes snap back to normal as he sits up and motions to the sofa, "You could sit there!" Then he looks at the bed, "Or here with me. Your choice!" He says with a big smile.

His ear fins drop back a bit, "But when I started out here in the Multiverse, I didn't have a very good reputation. I was very lost, confused... gullible.. very gullible... and I guess I still am."

Alexis has posed:
Alexis eventually returns, with what look like muffin trays. "Looks like tonight was a bit of experimenting with new recipes. I think it's some kinda take on pulled pork." Indeed the trays are loaded with what look like large muffins in size, though hollowed out from the top more like minature bread bowls, filled with pulled pork and BBQ sauce. Some have shredded cheese melted on top, while others are bare.

Duke has posed:
Duke's attention is pulled away from Gogo as Alexis shows up with BBQ cupcakes! That is how Duke takes it in his mind. The Guilmon X's eyes go big and he almost leans off his bed to sniff the air. "Those smell great!" He almost hops on the bed. "Food! Foodfoodfood!" Yes, he chants about food. He is a hungry boy.

GoGo Tomago (736) has posed:
GoGo Tomago rolls back in. She went out to get several dozen cases of things to drink, not knowing what everyone wanted! "I got drinks!" she says, setting down the cases.

Duke has posed:
Duke glances over and blinks a few times, "... I didn't even know you left." Makes him wonder if she heard the invite to where too sit. Though he goes back to grabby claws at the food.

Alexis has posed:
Alexis blinks a couple of times at GoGo... then nearly rolls with laughter as she sets the trays down. "Holy heck you -are- fast! Well that just makes it better. Dig in guys." Gives Duke a mock scolding look. "Just make sure you at least let everyone get their share, boy."

Duke has posed:
Duke scratches the side of his cheek and smiles softly with his ear fins perking up, "So... ten for me and one for everyone else?" He says playfully with a grin to match. Though once the train goes down, he snags one of the cheese covered ones and chomps down, almost acting like he is starving.

"I was telling Gogo," chomp, nomnom, "About how I want to be a hero one day." He then points at one of the sodas, "I'll take that one!"

Duke pauses at Gogo's explanation and tilts his head. "...I don't get it..." he just blinks a few times. Then shoves the rest of the BBQ muffin into his mouth.
