| Synopsis: | What will happen when a new unit is shown that has not been seen by anyone except for a select few that is available to Nagato and possibly others at a future date? |

Hikari peaceful and Mairead has gotten permission to have a few students of the IS Academy to see the Seaport and a tour. one of those is not a student, but Yamada Maya, all of the girls are walking around and looking at everything, although Mairead has kept them out of areas that they cannot go into, like where the ship parts are placed upon the girls, "Here is the Seaport and this is like me second home," says Mairead as she smiels. "It is peaceful and everyone is polite," she adds as Yamada looks at everything.
"So this is were allof the ... Ship girls live?" she asks Mairead.
"aye, and they are neat to be around and some are amazing, as they have something similar to IS', but nothing like what we are use too," she mentions. Yamada knows that Admiral Nagato has an IS, as do a few of the other girls, but that is about it, and no one has seen the new IS of Nagato's, except for Yamada and the girls who are assigned to do work on it. Even Mairead has not seen it, and she has not even thought about it, except for after Nagato received it. "I can tell ye that we have free movement here, but it is limited ot areas and there are a few here who are like Orimura-sensei," she adds with a smile.

There were three other people who's seen the IS before today. Zuihou, Chambers and Kagurazaka. Nagato wanted to get in a /bit/ of practice before this day drew its breath. "And soon the entire base will know." she whispers to her team, "Come... let's prepare the launching sequence, and you've made the resiquite armament changes, yes? I don't think some of those will suit this... suit." this draws a soft chuckle from the younger members of the repair team.
Midori gives a brief nod, "Of course, Nagato, we've made the nessecary adjustments as well. The thrusters will fire off better and you should have your balance once more. I think Mia tried to mess with the.." it's here she goes into a long complicated string theroy of what is going on... leaving a slight clueless face upon the Admiral.
"It's fine, it's fine. We'll just launch." and with a steady pace to enter the 'cockpit' of the IS... the groan of the hangar bay door is heard clear across the base... and a warning siren with Ooyodo's voice, "Launch from the airstrip has been approved. I repeat, a launch from the airstrip has been approved. Clear the area."
A soft nod is given, thumbs up from the entire repair team... and with a burst of speed (for a battleship), Nagato launches herself out of the hangar, halfway through the strip and into the air. "Yugana Kaze, launch successful." comes Midori's voice over the radio.

Blinking, Mairead looks and wonders what is going on as the hangar doors open and she sees something moving "...." and than hears the siren and words from Ooyodo and blinks, ""I was not aware of anything like this," and she looks and ponders, "I think that maybe the tower would be a good place to go," Mairea says to the small group as she directs them towards the tower. Opening the door, she walks in an dup the stairs as she thinks and a helmet appears over her head and lenses over her eyes.
Looking, Mairead smiles, "I will be right back," she says as she heads out the door. As she goes, she changes to her IS Suit as she exits the tower door and takes to the sky as she follwos the device that just launch.
"Tower, this is Emerald Lady, taking flight," she states as she speeds up.

Up at the comtower, Ooyodo gives a nod, "Understood, Emerald Lady, you're cleared for the sky." she comments over the radio, a grin upon her face, muttering to herself... "Looks like the sky will light up again." if Yamada makes it up, she does a customary greeting to her, a bow and a smile, then she offers her a seat.
Meanwhile, back on the ground in Hikari, a gathering of people... kanmusu, human... maybe even a certain 'aircraft', "What's going on?" "I don't know, something neat?" "It's an airshow, nanodesu!" "Airshow, are the carriers watching?" "We're right here..."
In the air, Nagato's in the sky... a red and white looking armor peices around her limbs and torso... the bodysuit is red and white in of itself and she stretches in the air. "Shields, five hundred. Weapons, check. Saftey modes, check. All system status is green. Yugana Kaze... patch me in to Mairead." and hopefully, a video window appears in her sight..
"Sandilands. I believe we shall be in the air as equals today."

Mairead looks as an image appears and she grins, "Aye, I think ye are right," she says with a smile as she thinks, "Ready when you ar," she adds as she catches up, nods to Nagato and banks off and away from her. "LEts see what ye IS can do," Mairead states to herself as she closes the radio and thinks on what to do.
Nodding in turn, Yamada bows, "Hello," and she looks as she steps to the edge, "This will be interesting, no safeties, no shields," and she turns, "Ready for combat assist," she says to the grisl who nods, "Hai!" they say as yhey know what is going on and Yamada looks, "I have never seen anything like this tower except in pictures," she says to Ooyodo.
Mairead has broke off and turns on a dime as she heads bck for Nagato, "Here I come," she says to her as Mairead thinks and launches two missiles at Nagato...

Back on the ground, Ooyodo says, "This is where I command. Radar's on every wall and able to communicate with every member of the fleet, Admiral included." Ooyodo says with a prideful grin. "This is my job and I do it with pride." she does give Yamada a curious look, 'And waht do you do?"
Back in the air, Nagato gives a brief nod. With the radio closed, Nagato's breath slows down, the Admiral hovering where she is. "Yugana Kaze, show me all weapons..." as a list of weapons come into view for the Admiral, she picks out a single rifle, a long barreled sniper rifle.
With it being hefted up, she tests the weight and turns around, aiming it. "Missiles, huh?" she questions, watching the streaking projectiles. "Tracking..." and with a single click, a solid shot round streaks from that rifle barrel straight towards Mairead. She keeps radio silence for this as the missiles strike the shield and give Nagato the needed smoke. The weapon is switched followed by eight missiles of her own. As the smoke clears, four missile pods are along her side, Nagato standing in her defiant pose, her hand out... and she makes a 'come here' motion with her finger. IT wasn't playtime today.

Mairead looks and thinks as she sees the rifle and the shot, "o.0" and Mairead summons her shield, Alistair as she thinks and blocks the shot as she keeps an eye on her shield energy. As she thinks, she summons Loch Rain and flies for Nagato as she aims at Nagato and flipping a switch, firies the .60 cal shotgun as a semi-automatic weapon and looks at Nagato as she fires at her.
Yamada loosk and smiles, "I am the Assistant Homeroom Teacher of Class One and assist in the training of the IS Students," she says as she looks at the radars. "I am also a former Repersentative of Japan," and she looks around as she watches everything on the radar and she can see why Nagato was quick to learn how to use an IS, due to what she sees here.. o 0 (This will be good information on possible assistance and exchange between IS Academy and Hikari) she thinks.
Mairead flies closer as she continues to fire at Nagao as Mairead Sandilands is more close combat than range and Mairead has an idea.

Once again, the shots pling off the Admiral's shields, Nagato giving Mairead a slightly incredilous look. "Hmm. I wonder..." the missile pods dissapear and Nagato switches to a weapon she knows second best... that battle axe. Tilting forwards, she opens the thrusters upon her legs and kicks off in the air, sending herself closer towards Mairead, readying the axe as she charges the green IS. "Mairead... hopefully this doesn't hurt too bad!"
It's here she SWINGS the axe, attempting to time it to where the arc of the swing smashes right into the other girl. ALmost as if the Admiral wanted to cut her in half.
Back in the tower, Ooyodo gives a brief nod, "I see, well, welcome to the base. Slip on the headset and you can watch through the radars. They're kinda old compared to what you use, but I promise, you'll be able to track them!"

Mairead sees Nagato heading for her and she brings up her shield as she drops the shotgun and brings out her Broadsword, "Aye, now this is more like it," she states to her as she brings the broadsword around and slashes at her in an attempt to disarm Nagato.
Yamada nods and puts on the headset, "It is, but it is still nice to learn how to use different things. The girls with Yamada follow suit and look at everything, "Mairead has moved in closer and Nagato has also," says one. "I see that this is going to be more close quarters, has Nagato had any training in that?" she asks, "Most likely, but Mairead is trained int hat as speck...plus there is a second weapon she has that she can use," she says as the girls work as a team. "No outside attacks or units, sky is clear, the third one says. Yamada nods as she smiles and watches, the girls know their stuff and watch.
As the two get into CQC, Mairead is ready and skilled in this and this will be a good test, especially at high speeds.
- Nagato has posed:
Nagato's specialization happens to be long range combat, though with the time she's spent in ALO... she's done decently as a DPS there... and, as Mairead would realize... as a tank. The disarm attempt is definitely successful, the battleaxe knocked loose, along with some of that shield energy of hers... She shakes her head a bit as a shield of her own comes into her left hand and a machine gun in her right hand. "This is.." she smirks, firing some close ranged beam shots right into Mairead, trying to kick off and lead the Emerald Lady in a chase.
Back in the tower, Ooyodo nods, "Of course. I take it this is the Emerald Lady's repair team?" she questions, looking at the ones present, "Admiral's is quite... eccentric, listening over the radio." she gives a bit of a chuckle, "But, the Admiral makes good use of /everyone/ in her fleet."

Yamada looks and grins, "Not really," she says to Ooyodo. "All the girls at the IS Academy learn basic knowledge on repair and some go into the specific areas. some work to help in teaching as well," she says. "All of the girls help and love contests and compatitions," and the girls nod as they say nothing more.
Mairead sees this and is hit but blocks some as she sees the shield, "as she looks and smiles, "Ye are having fun," she asks as she starts to follow Nagato and looks at the machine gun and ponders for a moment as she stops and drops down quickly and then rushes forward and than up towards Nagato as she heads for some clouds and stops in them.
