Profile

Nagato is the pure spirit of a vessel that was much loved by her people, but eventually lost. A level-headed woman, calm and collected, and with a sympathetic ear for the troubles of others, Nagato has proven herself a natural-born leader who takes her subordinate's failings as faults upon herself. Though initially a member of the Abyssal Navy, she now pities their existence and seeks to liberate them -- one way or another. A member of the Big Seven, one of a group of warships with large 41 centimeter guns, Nagato leads her fleet from the front with her impressive firepower while shielding smaller vessels with armor that is not just for show. She also commands a small group of Fleet Daughters who report directly under her, the Northern Force.

Abyssal Heritage: Nagato, before her rise as a flagship for the Fleet Daughters, used to be an Abyssal Ru-class Flagship. She still has the knowledge and the memories of that part of her life, and it is something she regrets. Those who find this out can exploit it to their benefit, turning her reputation or making people doubt her.

Mother Matron: Nagato and her compatriot Musashi are responsible for the Fleet Daughters, and everything the Fleet Daughters do is reflected back upon the pair, good or bad. As a result, Nagato strives to make the fleet better, even if she has to field herself with them. Additionally, she'll throw herself in harm's way to protect those she considers under her care. Returning her fleet to port undamaged is another mark of strong leadership that she strives toward.

Divided We Fall: Nagato's personal fleet acts most effectively as a unified team. If one member is isolated or exclusively targeted, they can be neutralized with relative ease, and each member so affected significantly reduces the overall power of the team as a whole. Divide-and-conquer tactics can reduce this powerful unit to a collection of weak individuals if not countered swiftly and decisively.

Repair Times: As expected when she, or the other Fleet Daughters, are fighting, they'll get damaged. This damage, however, isn't normally reparable by magic or medicine. She has to return to the Hikari Sea Port and take in specially prepared oils and minerals to repair the damage to herself and her equipment due to the unique way the Daughters are. In addition, resupplying takes in resources such as fuel and ammunition that is shared between all the Fleet Daughters.

Entirely Fate's fault, but Momoyo had it coming for some time...
