A Water Spirit's Fortune Telling - 3
Date of Scene: 22 October 2014
Location: Spring
Synopsis: Ayako is in the mood for fortune telling once more!
Cast of Characters: Priscilla, 73, 151, Sarracenia, Ayako Hasekawa, 594

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
The new moon has left Spring in a quiet, tranquil darkness. However, it is not an oppressive darkness; it's actually rather calming. From a creek in spring, the water slowly rises up and forms a very feminine human shape. Two amber irises are the first thing that forms out of the watery shape. A sheet of water is the next thing that emerges from the water, quickly forming a dark blue dress. The feminine lump of water then becomes fully human, and Ayako Hasekawa cheerfully floats out of the creek. Her gaze lazily takes in Spring as her long hair ties itself into a ponytail and a deep blue ribbon tied into a bow emerges from her hair. "Hmm... where shall I put it this time~?" And then her expression brightens.

Ayako floats over to a cherry tree and glances upwards. The cherry blossoms are gently falling, making a terrible mess on the ground, but no! The atmosphere given is perfect for her needs! She holds her over-sleeved hands outwards and a huge ball of water materializes. Her sleeves flick downwards and the ball of water appears to explode outwards-and quickly forms her usual fortune telling setting. A sky blue cloth mat decorated with dark blue roses, a small table decorated with a dark blue table cloth decorated with midnight blue roses and black frills at the edges-both of which are quickly dusted lightly with cherry blossom petals. Two chairs decorated with black lacquer and dark blue cushions are next to form, with one of the chairs piled with pillows of various blues.

Ayako idly floats over to the chair piled with pillows and sits down leisurely on it. After a bit of ruffling in her own sleeves, she produces a deck of tarot cards, which she begins shuffling with her sleeves. She giggles softly, "I wonder who will come tonight?" Floating pale blue flames wink into existence around her, illuminating the scene, as cherry blossom petals continue to fall around her.

Sarracenia has posed:
Princess Sarracenia just happens to be out for a nice stroll. The cheerful and vibrant setting that is Spring is perfect for a princess in high spirits with romance on her mind. She already has a cherry blossom in her hair and is skipping about between flowers and trees, collecting those flowers and fruits that spark her interest.

Then, all that weirdness with the water happens. She blinks a few times as she watches, then makes her way over. "Uh...hi there." the princess says as she gets closer, looking Ayako and her spread over. "What's all this?"

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako stops shuffling for a moment to blink her eyes quickly. "Oohh? You saw, huh? You saw, you saw!" She giggles brightly and then resumes shuffling the deck of tarot cards. "Hello!" The deck of tarot cards is placed gently on top of the table. "This? This is a hobby of mine. I do a little fortune telling once in a while when the mood strikes me." She leans back into her chair, seeming to be quite comfotable.

"Would you like to have your fortune told? The only thing I ask is a bit of your time and your name." Ayako's overly large, draping sleeve gestures over to the other chair. "If so... please have a seat." She giggles softly. "Oh. I'm Ayako Hasekawa. Please call me Ayako."

Sarracenia has posed:
Sarracenia's eyes widen. Fortune telling! Since she wasn't able to get into the Caverns of Prophecy, maybe this will help! "I would love to have my fortune told!" she says happily, then hops down in the seat and smiles brightly. "I am Princess Sarracenia Sundew, of the Sundew Kingdom. A pleasure, I'm sure." she says. "So, Ayako, how does this work? And...how did that whole emerging from the water thing work?" the princess asks as she crosses her legs and rests her hammer on the ground, the heavy head that looks as big as the princess herself denting the ground a bit.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako bows politely in her chair. "A pleasure to meet you, your Royal Highness." She smiles softly and gestures to the deck of cards on the table with her sleeve. "Well... all you need to do is cut the deck of cards on the table." She giggles brightly. "Oh? I'm a water spirit. I emerged from the water because I am water." She hides her mouth with her left sleeve-and said sleeve rapidly loses it's color, becoming clear water. Oh, her hand really does appear to be in the overly large, draping sleeve.

Sarracenia has posed:
The Princess blinks as the talent is displayed, then smiles and cuts the deck. "I see. A water spirit. I don't think I have met one of those before." she says, obviously pleased by Ayako's manners. "That must be rather spectacular, being able to melt into water and flow around. Does it make it easier to avoid danger? Can you form any kind of clothing you want?" She giggles. "Do you get many jokes about you being a 'cool drink of water'?"

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako giggles softly and her sleeve regains it's dark blue color. "Well, I hope I make a good impression for water spirits, then." She smiles softly as she takes the cut deck with one of her sleeves. Her head inclines to the side gently, "Hmm... for me... it's just the way I've always been, so... I'm not sure if it's spectacular or not." Her head nods once. "It's probably easier to think of me not as a girl who can melt into water, but rather water that can form into a girl." She smiles brightly at he questions... it seems she likes being asked questions-and has no hesitation about answering them! "It is pretty easy for me to avoid danger, yes... not that I seek it out most of the time. And yes, any type of clothing, although I have to absorb it to get a good look at it first, or I get details wrong." She blushes lightly. "That... that's always a bit awkward." A bright giggle escapes from her lips, "Oh yes, I get a lot of water-related jokes! I don't mind them, really."

Ayako smiles softly and then deals out five cards in a cross in front of Princess Sarracenia. "Well then. These cards will make up your fortune." She seriously looks at the cards and takes a deep breath. "This card... represents your past." A sleeve reaches over and flips the card over. The Magician, upright. "Hmm... choices and action. A bit on the vague side, though it will probably be clearer with the present card." Her gaze turns to the card on the left side of the cross.

Sarracenia has posed:
Sarra giggles as Ayako answers her questions. What a nice water spirit! "What is awkward? The absorbing, or the getting details wrong? I suppose it would be bad to get the details wrong and have clothes with no skirt or no front or something." she says before watching as the card is flipped over. "Wait, I don't need to know about my past. I know my past. I need to know my future! When will I find a heroic soulmate who will sweep me off my feet? Or...did I already find him or her and didn't realize it?"

That thought seems to distress the princess greatly. If she missed her soulmate already, she can never get them back! "And that card could be anyone. Choices and action? That's like...what life is."

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako smiles softly and nods her head. "Getting details wrong on clothing is always a bother. Forgetting holes for arms, getting the patterns wrong, missing whole parts..." She giggles softly. When Sarracenia comments about her past, Ayako inclines her head to the side gently. "Life flows from the past, to the present, to the future. To neglect or attempt to bypass that would require the power of a god. And~ I'm no goddess." She giggles softly. "Besides... I need all four cards to make a proper fortune. Whether or not it'll answer all your questions? Hmm... fortunes rarely do."

Ayako's sleeve flips over the present card. Judgement, upside-down. "Hmm... being stuck and repressed." Her gaze floats between the two cards. "Seems you made a decision in the far past and really are in a rut now..." She nods her head quickly. "Fair enough! Let's see the card for the immediate future then!" Her sleeve flips over the card on the right side of the cross. The Sun, upright. "Ah."

Ayako smiles brightly. "It seems you're going to be quite happy soon." Her gaze goes towards the future card; the card closest to her. "Although I wonder how that will result?"

Sarracenia has posed:
Sarracenia's expression sours a bit as the present card is flipped over. Her arms fold over her chest and she huffs softly. "I am not in a rut. I am just looking for the right person." she says defensively. Then, the sun card. "Oooh! Happiness is good!" she says, her expression brightening. "I did meet someone who has potential the other day..." she says, then pouts a bit. "Now I just have to figure out how to catch him."

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako inclines her head to the side gently, "Catch? I... Hmm... I hope you don't mean that literally..." She shakes her head slowly and then flips over the future card. The Tower, upright. She groans loudly when she sees that card shakes her head quickly this time and then whimpers softly. "I... I don't know how you're going to 'catch' him, but I don't think it's going to end well."

Ayako shakes her head slowly, "But... there is one last card. The card in the center of the cross is a card of guidance. It might help, it might hurt. It might give you the completely wrong impression. In the end, it's up to you if you want to see it or not."

Sarracenia has posed:
Sarracenia blinks at Ayako's first question. "What? Haha...of course not. I don't literally catch my knights in shining armor." She lowers her voice to mumble to herself, "...usually..."

When the tower is turned over, Sarra just kind of stares. "...okay...that is kind of spooky." she says, shifting nervously in her seat. "What does that mean? How not well will it end?" she asks before being asked about the last card. She thinks a moment, then shrugs. "Might as well look. It's not like looking at it will hurt me, right?" she says.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako shakes her head slowly, "It simply means that if you continue your current way of doing things, it won't end well." She nods her head once and then flips over the card in the center. The Hanged Man, upright. Ayako thoughtfully stares at that card for a while. "Hmm... patience, sacrifice, and letting go." She shakes her head slowly, "I've just met you, Your Royal Highness, so I can't presume to know you well enough to tell you what sort of thing this card wants you to do."

Ayako sighs softly, "Sorry... it wasn't a very nice fortune, was it?"

Sarracenia has posed:
Sarra stays quiet at the not so clear clarification. "So...it doesn't mean I will literally get locked in a tower?" she asks before the last card is flipped over. "What the...?" She huffs, clearly not amused by this turn of events. Ayako's explanation makes it a bit better, but not much. Patience. Sacrifice. Letting go. Three things that Sarra is loathe to have or do. "What do I possibly need to let go of?" she whines, her attitude growing childish. She folds her arms over her chest again and hmphs in that manner only princesses can do. "No, it was not a good fortune. It all sounds like my parents paid you to say these things. Like it wants me to abandon my current path and forget all my choices and go back to them. I'm not doing that! They want me to just sit there in the city and be a good little princess! But that's booooring and I'm gauranteed to be married to an equally booooring prince if I do that. I want excitement and adventure and a hero and he adoration of my people! Like that prim and proper Princess Peach! I'm just as good a princess as she is!"

Yes, as Sarra continues to rant about not wanting to do what she is supposed to do as a princess, it becomes clear she has issues.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako gathers up the face up cards and shuffles them back into the deck. She leans back into the pillows on her chair and quietly listens to Sarracenia's rant. Her head nods slowly, "In the end, it's up to you what you want to do. I'm not going to tell you what to do." Ayako happens to be good with children, so when people actually get childish, she's surprisingly good at handling it. Even if they have issues. Few children don't have any issues! "Well... the future is never set in stone. You can always change it with your own efforts!" She smiles softly and gently to Sarracenia, being very careful not to sound condescending.

Sarracenia has posed:
Sarracenia calms down as Ayako speaks up. "That's right. I'm in control of my future. My parents aren't going to tell me how to live my life. I live my own life!" she says. She looks at Ayako a moment. "Are all your fortunes so...bleak?" she asks, still looking a bit annoyed, but no longer ranting. "It is a good thing this was free." she adds, looking off to the side a moment before back at Ayako. "Are you able to answer specific questions, or do the cards only give you general ideas?"

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako nods her head gently as Sarracenia says that she lives her own life and smiles softly. She then shakes her head slowly. "Not all of them are so bleak." And then nods her head once. "I never do charge when I do fortune telling. It wouldn't really be fair to." A soft sigh escapes her lips. "Sadly, I'm not so skilled a fortune teller as to answer specific questions, as I'm only really good enough to give general ideas." Her sleeves resume shuffling the deck of tarot cards. "Sorry Princess Sarracenia..."

Sarracenia has posed:
Sarra sighs disappointedly as Ayako replies in the negative. "Well, I suppose it cannot be helped. The future is a difficult thing, especially here in the Multiverse." She offers a slight smile as Ayako apologizes. "Do not concern yourself, I am in control of my future, after all. But, here, a water spirit might enjoy this."

Sarra reaches into the little handbag she keeps on her almost all the time, fumbles around a bit, then grins. She pulls, then grunts and pulls harder until...*pop*! Sarra eeks in surprise at how much effort it took, and it knocks her chair back. But, in her hand is a little frog doll. She huffs before getting back to her feet. She dusts her dress off, then places the doll on the table. "This is a frog suit. It is a special item from my world. Usually it allows one to swim more effectively and hold one's breath for long periods of time. But, for you, I think it might just be a cute decoration. If you do ever want to use it, all you have to do is touch it while wanting to use it." she says.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako smiles cheerfully at Sarracenia, "Un! That you are. And good luck, Your Royal Highness." Upon seeing the small frog doll she smiles faintly. "Ah. How cute!" She bows her head politely towards Sarracenia. "Thank you very much for the gift. I'll accept it graciously." The cards disappear into her sleeves and then said sleeves gingerly pick up the little frog doll and stroke the frog's head equally gently.

Sarracenia has posed:
Sarracenia nods in agreement. "I know! Isn't it just the cutest?" she says, smiling happily, then she picks the chair up and sets it back in place before picking up her DK hammer. She rests it with the head hooked over her shoulder, then smirks. "I hope whoever comes to you next has a better fortune than I did." she says before she curtseys politely and heads off into Spring again.

Frederica (73) has posed:
It's just one of those weird coincidences. Frederica's not normally given to wandering strange places of an evening. She's had a lot on her mind lately though, and a stroll is one of those things that can really soothe the mind. Only, a series of coincidences led her onward and elsewhere. Chance-met strangers pointed out good places to go, nice things to see, trails to try. It was a bit of a hike, but Frederica's in fine shape and she has a LOT on her mind.

Mind you, she's not really an athlete. And when it comes right down to it, she's not much given to hiking. Her curiousity's piqued however, and she intends to see this lake by the appropriate light. She's just going to travel in style, that's all.

So yeah. What comes up the trail this time is... well, it's a blazing ball of fire. A mass of flame a good eight feet wide and twelve tall, shaped like an egg. An egg with thick stumpy legs. It trundles along, somehow NOT burning every tree it happens to brush past. It casts no sparks, no intense heat. It's flame though, or at least it looks like flame... and yet it also looks alive. And within the elemental's belly a young woman sits primly, perched in midair (actually in mid-fire) seemingly relaxed while the mighty flamebeast takes a stroll for her.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako gently puts the frog doll away in her sleeves and resumes shuffling her deck of tarot cards. She glances curiously down the trail and... uhh... Hmm. That's not something you see everyday. Fairly huge fireball egg. With stumpy legs. Right. At least it isn't burning everything in sight! Her head inclines to the side curiously, the Multiverse sure has a lot of interesting sights!

Frederica (73) has posed:
Frederica has control. Rather outstanding control really, considering the sheer destructiveness inherent in her power. She also appears to be not wholly lost in contemplation, spotting Ayako and her table and frowning. Then she shrugs, dips her legs beneath her and stands upright. Still looks weird, considering she's standing on nothing but flame.

Taking a few steps forward, Frederica emerges from the body of the elemental and drops lightly to the ground. "Don't mind Salamandra." the woman, about Ayako's age, says lightly. "She doesn't bite~"

Of course Salamandra doesn't exactly look like a she, and while the stumpy elemental DOES have a rather huge mouth it doesn't exactly look like biting is something that should be one's biggest concern. "Is this the sight I've been promised? Well, it is scenic I suppose... funny, everyone I've met this evening has sent me onwards. What advice might you have for me, I wonder?" she asks playfully.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako blinks her eyes when Frederica emerges from the body of the elemental and walks towards her. She giggles softly, "Oh oh, I won't mind Salamandra, she looks rather cute, actually." Her head then inclines to the side, her face seeming confused, "Hmm? A sight to see? I'm not sure. I don't really think of myself as something too interesting..."

Her gaze goes upwards for a moment as she thinks... "I think I've heard this voice on the radio before, though... Frederica, was it?" Ayako smiles happily, "It's Ayako! If you remember, I mean." She giggles brightly. "Oh, you want your fortune told? Well then!" Her sleeves place the deck of tarot cards onto the table. "Cut the deck, if you would, please!"

Frederica (73) has posed:
Frederica reaches out to pat Salamandra affectionately. The big beast isn't alive, not in any sense of the word. She's a construct of Frederica's mind, but for one reason or another Frederica treats her as if she were alive.

"Ayako? Oh, of course I remember." she says, beaming. "I've been meaning to meet you! I just... didn't expect it like this. Quite a coincidence, wouldn't you say?" she asks. After a moment she pushes her hand within Salamandra and draws the elemental back inside herself. It's a quick process, the elemental shrinking rapidly until it's nothing more than a wisp upon her hand, then even that vanishes. Frederica's not the sort to be rude, and leaving a flaming elemental around with a water being seems just a bit odd at the very least.

"Well, I wasn't sure what I wanted when I set out..." Frederica hedges, but then shrugs and sits down, crossing her legs demurely. She reaches out to the cards. "If this is what this evening leads to, I don't see why I shouldn't go along with it?" she says, a bit dubiously, before dividing the deck into two.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako smiles cheerfully. If anything, you have to be nice to the things that you create yourself, after all. She giggles brightly and nods her head slowly, "Oh, have you? Well, this is as good a way as any." Her shoulders shrug lightly as she smiles softly. "Well... even if it's a coincidence or not, let's enjoy this meeting." She quietly watches Frederica draw the fire elemental back inside herself and claps her hands cheerfully. "Yes, let's see what will happen. It's always interesting when unexpected but harmless things occur, isn't it?" She gently picks up the deck and deals out five cards in a cross shape.

Frederica (73) has posed:
While she's not exactly unfamiliar with fortunetelling, Frederica doesn't know the Tarot. She watches Ayako's movements, curious, not sure how to take this. Not sure, for that matter, how seriously Ayako takes it. "Are you seeing the future?" she asks, curious. "My ... my adoptive mother could see the future. She was an excellent fortune teller. It would be interesting, I suppose, if your power was like hers."

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako smiles softly and shakes her head, "Well... I'm not sure if I really am seeing the future... but I do my best to interpret what the cards tell me." She nods her head slowly, "Here goes... This card represents your past." Her sleeve reaches over and flips over the card closest to Frederica. The Empress, upright. "Hmm... a mother, or a desire, or growth of some sort?" She shakes her head slowly. "I'm not really sure what this means without another card."

Frederica (73) has posed:
To Frederica, the card's meaning is obvious. She'd already been thinking of her adoptive mother. "Elmore Tenjuin." she says, sounding out the name quietly. Empress, a figure of power, a mother to her and her siblings even though she was too old for children and not related to any of them. It's weird though, saying her actual name rather than calling her one of the usual terms of endearment and respect they would have normally used.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako blinks her eyes slowly. "A-ahh... I suppose... it was very literal in this case..." She nods her head once and then reaches for the card to Frederica's left. "This card... represents the present." Her sleeve reaches over and flips it over. The Sun, upright. Ayako smiles brightly, "You're... pretty happy with how things are right now, aren't you?"

Frederica (73) has posed:
Frederica has no idea how literal these things should be taken, but has no reason to indulge in scepticism. Or to assume things are less literal than they appear, for that matter. She blinks at Ayako's question. "W-well... yes, I suppose?" she says. Is she happy? Well, that depends. If what she recently has done ends up working, she'll be extremely happy. "Is that what the Sun represents? Happiness?" she asks. "Or could it be a nurturing flame as well?" she tries, considering a certain definition of 'present' and correlating what's going on in her life. Phoenix, the healing flame. They've ... just now come to a sort of accomodation.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako smiles brightly. "Yup! The Sun represents joy and happiness. It's one of the more positive cards." She nods her head slowly and then looks to the next card on the right side of the cross. "This card, represents the immediate future." Her sleeve moves over and flips it over. The High Priestess. "Hmm... love, wisdom, intuition... but also mystery..." She smiles softly. "A pretty ambiguous card so... the next card might help."

Her sleeve reaches over for the card closest to her. "This card represents the future." Ayako swiftly flips it over. The Devil, upright. "I... hmm... this one... overindulgance and the repressed self." She glances at the two future cards and thinks to herself for a while... "You may be consumed by the pursuit of mysticism or love?" Ayako shakes her head slowly... "I'm not sure if this makes any sense."

Frederica (73) has posed:
The first card, while it might seem to be a happy one for most people, makes Frederica frown. She likes the idea of love, wisdom and intuition. That's really her. If there's a tarot card that represents how she sees herself, it'd be that one. Whether it reflects reality, that's another matter, but the description is how she pictures herself.

Mystery though, that's a weird addition to the mix. Sure, it describes her too, at least in her own mind. But it's a bit disturbing. "Does it mean my love is a mystery?" she asks, sounding like she intends it to be a joke... but the words sound a bit flat. Might be it hit too close to the truth for her comfort. The next card though, that bothers her even more. "I-I'm not about to overindulge in love or anything like that!" she insists hotly.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako shakes her head slowly, "It might not mean that your love is a mystery." She smiles softly, "Nor does it mean you might overindulge in love." Her head inclines to the side, "It might mean that there are aspects of yourself that you simply don't want to deal with that are feminine in nature. To be honest," She nods her head once, "It will probably not make sense until after the fact."

Ayako's gaze turns towards the card in the center. "That card represents a card of guidance. It might help you, but it might mislead you as well. It's up to you if you want to see what it is."

Frederica (73) has posed:
It's not that the cards necessarily represent Frederica's future, but they do seem to represent what she might fear. She considers the cards as laid out. She likes the first two, and is a bit freaked out by the next two. She has no reason to doubt that they represent a significant sign, however. Being raised by psychics leads you to accept that the future is forseeable. But she also knows the future isn't fixed. Sure, the middle card is a bit scary. It's the unknown. But she's no child, to allow her fear of the unknown to rule her. She nods. "Let's see it then." she says, sounding like she's trying to imply boredom.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako nods her head once and then flips the center card over, albeit with some hesitation. The Emperor, upright. "Hmm... power, stability, order, and discipline." She nods her head slowly, "Perhaps some inner strength and confidence in your own power may be just what you need in order to overcome what's coming ahead." She smiles softly to Frederica.

Frederica (73) has posed:
Well, that's certainly what Phoenix said. Frederica's frown turns into a thoughtful look, then a slight smile. "Discipline and stability. Well, not easy I suppose, but important." she agrees. "Hmmm. This doesn't seem to be fortune telling. I've seen records of how my mother did it, many years ago. She didn't do anything about the past, but she was always right about the future even when she was cryptic. Naturally." she grins. "I'll keep this in mind though. I imagine it can't hurt!"

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako slowly winks cheerfully as she shuffles the cards back into the deck. "Well... it's not like I have any real magic behind my fortune telling. I just interpret what my cards tell me, that's all." She giggles softly. "I'm sorry it's so cryptic. But! As long as it gives you something to think about... I'd say this fortune was a success." She smiles brightly.

Frederica (73) has posed:
"Thank you, Ayako." Frederica says, grinning with pleasure. "It's been wonderful finally meeting you. I think my journey may well be over... for today at least." she says. Then looks back the way she came, frowning. "Well, after I get home at least." she adds with a sigh. Still, she'll have something to think about on the way home!

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako smiles brightly at Fredrica and bows politely to her. "You're very welcome, Frederica! I hope we can meet again sometime. Although I'll probably be dressed very differently." She giggles brightly and sets her deck of cards down to waggle her draping sleeves at Frederica. "Have a safe trip home."

Priscilla has posed:
It can't entirely be said that Priscilla's trip to Spring had been completely coincidental. She had sought a setting as close to the painting wrought by The Artist of Mizuki's world, perhaps to alleviate the saddening thoughts revolving around its destruction. Spring had been the most likely place for cherry blossoms, and she prefers to go out by moonlight. With her ability to sense the souls of others, it was only inevitable that she would meet Ayako that night, having been slowly drawn in by the spirit's presence while passing.

"So, here thou art." Priscilla speaks up a short distance from the table, politely remembering to disengage her invisibility, softly blowing a scatter of petals away from her. "I wouldst say this is an unusual time and place to find thee at, but I cannot say I fathomed much of thine motives to beginneth with. Praytell, what brings thee here of all places at such an odd time?"

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako absentmindedly shuffles the deck of tarot cards on her sleeves. "Un. Here I am." She giggles softly as her amber gaze turns towards Priscilla. "Oh, what's wrong with doing some fortune telling at night by waterlight?" Her giggles become bright as she gestures towards the pale blue flames that float around her body. "Hmm? I'm doing this because I think it's amusing and fun. Besides, the night of a New Moon makes for a nice atmosphere, doesn't it?"

Priscilla has posed:
". . . atmospheric it certainly is. Scenery such as this is what I had sought. Thine taste in furnishings is also impressive." Priscilla sounds a little guarded, eyes fixed on those tarot cards in Ayako's hands. "Why not then give notice that thou didst intend to do such a thing? Surely not many couldst hath wandered by here on pure chance." Apparently intending to stay a while, she takes the seat on the opposite side of the table, curling her tail into her lap as she awkwardly settles in. "I knew not thou were possessed of powers of prophecy either."

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako blushes lightly. "Thank you very much, Priscilla." She sets the deck of cards on top of the table as she inclines her head to the side gently. "Hmm... I don't care to loudly advertise that I do something like this. Rather, I'd prefer to leave it to chance... or perhaps fate?" A bright giggle escapes her lips. "It gives me more of a surprise when someone does happen to come along." Her head shakes slowly, "I don't have any power to predict the future at all. Rather..." She winks slowly and playfully, "I prefer to leave it to these cards and chance. That being said..." Ayako leans forward expectantly, "Do you want me to tell your fortune anyway?"

Priscilla has posed:
Priscilla looks maybe a liiiitle dubiously at the idea of anyone encountering Ayako here being fate. The fact she had decided to tell fortunes to passing strangers seemingly at random without any kind of significant power of divination is just another one of those . . . eccentricities that the crossbreed excuses the water spirit. After all, Ayako is even older than her. Maybe she'll get all weird and giggly when she's that age? ". . . such a choice is thine to make, I suppose.' She does give a second glance to those cards however. "I am curious as to how one is meant to predict the future with a deck of cards however. If it wouldst not cost me, I wouldst like to see."

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako simply stares with her deep amber eyes at Priscilla. She appears to be quite excited about the prospect of telling the fluffy crossbreed's fortune. "Oh, of course I don't charge anything for this. It's not like I actually can see the future. Although... maybe this type of thing does cost a bit of your time, though." Her head inclines to the side gently. "If you don't mind that... all you need to do is to cut the deck." She smiles softly and leans back into the pillows on her chair.

Priscilla has posed:
Well, Priscilla is only passingly familiar with the terminology revolving around the use of cards from the numerous games that go on around Heaven or Hell with the traditional deck of 52, but she knows what that means at least. She pauses for a moment, as if stopping to consider what possible significance there could be to someone who claims not to be able to divine the future, claiming to be telling fortunes. Seeing no harm in it (and especially seeing no more productive use of her time), Priscilla gingerly reaches for the deck, picking up as close to half as she can see with a delicate touch and placing it down on the middle of the table. "Very well."

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako cheerfully takes the deck of cards and takes a deep breath and tries to focus. She quickly deals five cards in the shape of a cross in front of Priscilla. "These cards will be your fortune then." She seems... oddly serious for someone claiming she can't tell the future at all. Or is it just to add plausibility? "Let's start with the card that represents the past..." Her overly large sleeve flips over the card closes to Priscilla on the cross. The Death, upside-down.

Ayako's eyes blink for a moment and she inclines her head to the side gently. "Hmm... being locked in stasis and not being able to change, huh?"

Priscilla has posed:
Priscilla regards the proceedings with mild interest, but not anything approaching real sincerity. She's curious as to how this particular custom works, since she's never seen or heard of a tarot deck before, but as long as Ayako insists that she doesn't have an inkling of what the future holds, the exercise is more to entertain herself and humour the water spirit than anything else.

That changes significantly when she hears the explanation of the death card. At first she had thought it simply something indicative of death in her past, of which there is quite a lot, but also common in anyone's life after they've reached a certain age. What it symbolizes instantly puts her on edge. "That is . . . accurate. Yes. For something close to a thousand years I remained within the great painting of Ariamis, exposed to perhaps a wanderer from the outside world twice a century at most." Torn on whether or not to accept it as coincidence or put some real enthusiasm into the prospect of accurate fortune telling, Priscilla shuffles a little closer in her seat, wringing one sleeve in her hand as she waits patiently for the next card to confirm either suspicion.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako's gaze turns towards the card on the left side of the cross and her sleeve reaches towards it. She pauses and blinks her eyes quickly. "A-ahh? Hmm... I didn't know you were within a painting for such a long time... Well, I'm glad you're out and finding new things out in the Multiverse." She smiles cheerfully at Priscilla and then flips over the card. The Tower, upright.

Ayako instantly cringes when that card is flipped over. "Ick. A chaotic and disasterous change accompanied by difficult times." She sighs and then nods her head slowly. "That... sounds about right for the situation with your world... huh..."

Priscilla has posed:
Okay now that's just eerie. Though her expression barely changes, Ayako can easily tell that Priscilla is really invested in this now. ". . . yes. I cannot say that another card wouldst be more fitting." A long pause follows. "Art thou absolutely certain these cards contain no powers of diviniation whatsoever? I am aware that many statements of past, present and future art so vague that they can be applied to just about any life, but these art unerringly truthful." She almost forgets to respond to Ayako's attempts at being nice. "Oh . . . ah, it is a long and . . . difficult story. I am gladdened as well that I was finally able to leave and meet such accepting new worlds. Tonight is likely not the best of times to tell the full tale however."

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako nods her head slowly and then blinks her eyes in surprise. "I... well... they're just plain tarot cards. If I do have any powers of divination, I certainly am not aware of them. After all, everything I can do is based around water..." She shakes her head slowly... and then smiles softly when Priscilla responds to her kindness. "I hope I can give some relief through the next two cards, though."

Ayako's gaze swiftly turns towards the card on the right of the cross. "This card, represents the immediate future." Her sleeve swiftly turns it over. The Fool, upside-down. Said sleeve instantly goes straight to her cheek while she thinks. "Hmm... a refusal to start a new journey, believing one is already complete."

Priscilla has posed:
'Plain tarot cards' means exceedingly little other than 'yeah right' to Priscilla at this point. It suddenly seems unlikely that some culture out there would invent them without any kind of basis behind how they work or what they do. "Where didst thou get these?" She asks, perhaps expecting an appropriately mystical answer that might explain some sort of magical origin. Fortune telling hadn't really been a thing back in Lordran, but it's nowhere near impossible for it to have developed in other worlds, especially considering the Caverns of Prophecy.

That next card gets a much more pronounced period of silence out of her. Now that they were out of the past, it's impossible to simply decide that a card must be completely accurate, but the longer she ponders on it, the more she wonders if that description might actually apply to her. ". . . mine journey in Lordran is nearly complete. The next Lord will be crowned shortly and there is little else to do but wait to see if the country can revive itself afterward. I suppose this means there shouldst be something to pay attention towards after? Is there any use in knowing this, with refusal being predestined either way, or am I meant to take this as advice to do the opposite?"

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako smiles warmly, as she glances fondly at the cards. "A friend gave this to me a long time ago. I try to be as gentle as I can with them so that I can keep fortune telling with them." Her gaze returns to the reversed Fool. "Hmm... it may be referring to what happens after your country has been set right again. Or it may refer to something that may happen soon. It's difficult to say without looking at the next card."

Ayako turns her attention to the last card on the cross, the one closest to her. "This card, represents the future." She swiftly flips it over. The Hanged Man, upright. "Hmm... passiveness, sacrifice, and self-contemplation." Her gaze moves between the two future cards for a while and she shakes her head slowly. "That didn't help much... whatever causes you to stop your own growth causes you to most likely become lost in your thoughts and not wish for you to do anything."

Priscilla has posed:
That's a little bit worrying. Mostly because Priscilla secretly knows she is far too given to passiveness and contemplation. One tends to adhere to that kind of perspective when left completely alone for hundreds of years. Even now, the multiverse moves a little too fast for her, and rarely gives her time to fully examine her own feelings on a matter. New and exciting but . . . frustrating all the same.

"Perhaps better than some form of obstacle or trial that makes things difficult or impossible to pursue. It is vague however, yes. It is also not difficult to imagine forms of journeys that I wouldst be loathe to suddenly embark on without time to fully consider them." Well, she's telling the truth. ". . . and what is this last card for?"

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako nods her head slowly. "This last card is a card of guidance. It can be helpful if you find the current cards... unpleasent. It can also hurt by leading you completely astray." She shakes her head slowly. "But, in the end, it's up to you if you wish to see what that card has to say." Her gaze goes upwards for a moment. "I don't like seeing the Fool reversed... so I do hope that you can get past it! Being unable to continue life's journey is no fun, after all." Her head nods once.

Priscilla has posed:
"If it leads me astray, then it wouldst be no difference than if I had made the wrong decision of my own volition. Guidance is at least something to contemplate, and should it go awry, I wouldst hath the benefit of knowing the error of the way I didst take." Priscilla's hand goes towards the final card before suddenly stopping. Does it not work if the teller themself doesn't flip it? ". . . should I? Or is this your task?"

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako smiles softly, "That's true. You could always simply ignore what the card says, after all." Her eyes quickly widen when Priscilla moves to turn the card over herself. "Oh, how brave! Not many people would flip THAT card over themselves. You may if you want to!" She smiles brightly.

Priscilla has posed:
'Brave' is an odd choice of words. Is there something to be afraid of here? Does flipping it yourself change the result somehow? Or are most people simply not confident in their ability to interpret mystical guidance and would instead rather rely on their own intuition and decision making skills? The latter seems a little silly seeing as acting as one usually does is presumably how one runs into these predicted obstacles in the first place. Absolutely certain that she wishes to see the final card, Priscilla lifts the corner by the edge of her fingernails, resists the urge to peek under it, and flips the card as gently as possible, so as not to bend or damage one of Ayako's prized possessions.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako stares as the center card is revealed. The Chariot, upside-down. Her eyes blink quickly and then... she thinks... "It seems you are in danger of going onto the wrong path. You need to ease your anxiety and loosen your grip of hard control over a situation. It might feel like you're being pulled away in the wrong direction, being affected by things you don't understand, but you will grow in the process." She nods her head once. "That's what this card suggests, anyway."

Priscilla has posed:
Priscilla makes a long, thoughtful noise at that. Not being totally in control of a situation is one of the things that she decidedly doesn't like. Her lack of control over her own life is what had cost her hundreds of years of isolation and misery to begin with. The idea of relinquishing her hard won say over her own destiny and praying for the best isn't an attractive prospect to her, even if the tarot cards had been convincing so far. Now she finally realizes what Ayako means about the significance of the last card.

"I . . . see. This does relate to the previous two cards, but I believeth such shalt be difficult for me, especially deciding when and where it is that management of events is no longer productive. I shouldst hath expected that telling the future wouldst not hath been so easy, and still . . ." Seemingly having a lot to think on for the night, Priscilla gets up out of her chair, her tail now swishing pensively as the gears turn in her head. "I thank thee for thine time and talents at any rate. Tonight is not one I had expected to be fruitful."

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako smiles softly at Priscilla. "You're very welcome, Priscilla." Her amber gaze notes how thoughtful the crossbreed is, causing her to warmly add, "And... good luck." She quietly shuffles the face up cards back into her tarot card deck and resumes watching for other people that may want their fortune told.

Fang (594) has posed:
Fang makes his way into the area, under the moonlit sky and watching the cherry blossoms fall from the trees above. His vibrant blue eyes seem to almost glow in the moonlight lit area. His walk more that of a royal, then just a normal passerby, though also the carrier of a great deal of strength of will.

Soon those eyes fall upon the young woman playing with a deck of cards. A deck of cards he recalls one of the clans playing with. Cards that had mystical properties... was she also such of one? Though she was indeed not of his world.

Fang started to make his way toward the water sprite and gave her a nod of his head, "Hey there. You charging for your abilities?"

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako smiles softly as she continues to absentmindedly shuffle the deck of tarot cards in her hands. "Hello~. Oh no, I don't ever charge for something like this. Well... except for maybe a bit of your time and of course your name." She winks playfully. "It wouldn't do for me to keep calling a guest some various words, after all." She giggles softly and sets the deck of cards down on the table. Her sleeves gesture over to the opposing chair, "Please. Have a seat and cut the deck, if you would."

Fang (594) has posed:
Fang takes a seat and smirks faintly. "Uh huh. Well, the name is Fang. Hoping your abilities will give me a little insight if I'm going to find my way back home or not." He snorts faintly. "Personal stuff, you know-- but we had a clan that did such things like this."

Fang glances over to her, meet his own eye level with hers. "They were sometimes not a group to be taken lightly." As he says this, he hand reaches over and cut the deck in half, then takes that half, shuffles in it his hand, then slides it between the remaining Deck.

The young man then places out his hands, palm up. "So, shall we---?" He then tilts his head, "..what is your name?"

Ainsley (151) has posed:
Ainsley arrives late to the fortune teller stand, not really in a rush to be anywhere. When she arrives she looks upon the blue decorated structure with curiosity. She steps around its perimeter, seeming to only barely touch the ground. She trails a feeling of a breeze and the metallic taste of a thunderstorm along with her, disturbing the peaceful night only moderately.

She steps up to get a look at what is happening between Ayako and Fang, her feathered brows furrowing. Her hands clasp behind her back. "I apologize for intruding," she murmurs to the both of them. "Should I wait for this reading to finish?"

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako smiles cheerfully. "Nice to meet you, Fang. I'm Ayako Hasekawa, a water spirit. Please call me Ayako." She bows her head politely towards Fang. "I have no idea if these cards will help you return home, but... we'll see, shall we?" Her amber gaze calmly-even happily meets Fang's own teal blue. Her heavily oversleeved hands take the cut deck and swiftly deals out five cards in front of Fang in the shape of a cross.

Ayako's gaze then travels swiftly to Ainsley. "Ah... good evening, Ainsley! I don't mind, really, but..." She shakes her head slowly, "I'm afraid I can't tell the fortunes of two people at the same time. If you don't mind waiting, I would love to tell your fortune next."

Fang (594) has posed:
Fang leans back in the chair with his arms crossed as Ayako introduces herself and hms softly. "A water spirit huh? I think there was an elemental clan on my world. Nice people, didn't give my clan any trouble. Thankfully for them."

He looks over to Ainsley, not saying to much before he looks back to Ayako as she creates a cross with the cards. He tilts his head faintly to the side. "I hope so, but anything is better then nothing."

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako smiles softly, "Well, I'm glad you don't bare me any ill will." Her sleeve moves towards the card closest to Fang in the cross. "And I hope I can help in some way! So! This card... represents the past." Ayako's sleeve smoothly flips over the card. The Strength, upright. "Hmm... a past filled with discipline, control, and perseverence." She nods her head slowly. "And your present..." The card on the left side of the cross is flipped over. The Hanged Man, upright.

Ayako blinks her eyes quickly. "Hmm... I went quickly because I thought you would be interested more in the future than the present, but... there's something pretty significant here worth considering." She glances at the two cards. "You might think you're stuck here, but... you are on a path of self-development. Perhaps being away from home as you are now will make you much stronger than even you might expect."

Fang (594) has posed:
"Stronger then I already was?" Fang ask before he nearly breaks into a laugh, but he does control himself a bit. Only grinning with those sharp canines slightly exposed. "I was already pretty powerful, Ayako. Most feared in my world and could flick nearly any other with just my sheer pinky talon."

Fang shakes his head. "..though before I got sent here.. I went to see Clunea.. our goddess.. apparently she couldn't answer my question, cause I was seeking the strongest. Hard of hearing in her old age I guess. Anyways, she got a stick up her rear, cursed me-- and threw me out of my own world."

The young man snarls at this, before he taps his finger on the table. "That is why seeing the future is important. Got it? I need to find away back home or.. if these cards of yours will ever tell me if I do and if I get that goddess back for what she did to me."

Ainsley (151) has posed:
Ainsley regards Fang with some thought as he speaks. Not with judgment, but with a curiosity as he talks about how he was once so powerful that he could be feared by all. Her eyes lid gently at the way he recounts the story, obviously seeing the flaws there but not voicing what they are exactly.

Her arms cross, and she waits for her turn to have her fortune told. Patient and quiet. She's good at seeming like a background object when she feels interjecting might cause problems.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako nods her head slowly. "Ah, I see, I see." She inclines her head to the side gently... the goddess might have actually filled his request by sending him off to the Multiverse... of course, Ayako doesn't say this. This recklessness and overconfidence seems to remind her of something. "Un un. I understand now." She smiles softly. "Well, then let's get straight to the cards that represent the future."

Ayako's gaze turns towards the card on the right side of the cross. "This card represents the immediate future..." Her long sleeve flips the card over. The Judgement, upside-down. "Hmm... indecision, unable to move forward, and a clinging to the past." She shakes her head slowly, "Well... let's see about the far future, then..."

Fang (594) has posed:
Fang raises a brow at Ayako's future card, but he does cut a glance over at their company for a moment, before he looks back to the water spirit. "What do you have?"

Ainsley (151) has posed:
Ainsley only smiles at the look, her tail swaying behind her in a way reminiscent to a feline.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako flips over the card closest to her. The Star, upside-down. She groans loudly when she sees that card with that orientation. "Ungh. I'm sorry Fang. I don't think you're going to be going back anytime soon." She shakes her head slowly, "In fact, the harder you try to push your way back, the more likely you are going to get incresingly frustrated." Ayako bows her head in apology. "Although... there is one card left" Her amber gaze goes towards the card in the center of the cross.

"That card in the center is a card of guidance. It can give some helpful advice. But it can also lead you astray." Ayako nods her head once. "It's up to you if you wish to see what that card is or not."

Fang (594) has posed:
Fang snorts softly at the card. "Go figure. She curses me in a weaker state and makes it even harder for me to see.. home.. again." He rubs the back of his neck, before he motions with his hand gently. "Yeah-- lets see what you center card has to say. Gone this far already, no sense in turning around or not seeing what it holds."

Fang does cant his head in thought before he looks at Ayako, "And don't worry. I'm not upset with you. Clunea is a real piece of work and she knows it too. So all this is really doing is reminding me how much I disdain I have for her and all her feathery bull."

The young man then aids with a half-hearted smirk, "Besides-- you do a good job at this.. not many are willing to freely share such information with others. Dangerous at times too. Should be proud of yourself for it."

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako nods her head once as she quietly listens to Fang, "Hmm..." Clunea... definitely sounds like a piece of work alright. Maybe Fang will appreciate what she did someday? Probably not for a really, really long time. She blushes lightly when she's complimented, "A-ahh... thank you very much, Fang." Her gaze turns serious as she looks towards the center card... and hesitates slightly before flipping it over. The Empress, upright.

Ayako is quiet for a moment as she thinks to herself. She opens her mouth to say something, but then closes it slowly as she ponders over the card again... perhaps looking at it from another angle. "It appears... that the advice is to simply live life here and enjoy what this place has to offer."

Fang (594) has posed:
Fang stares at that last card. He stares at it for a long time. Those vibrant blue eyes narrowing, but the anger-- the anger was not directed at Ayako. His jaw clenches at her words, the advice of a card. He wants to reach over to grab it. Rip from the table and burn it in his hands.

Yet-- these tools-- these tools were the woman's trade and if her cards were like the clan he knew that used them. It could invoke the wrath of spirits from beyond. So all the young man can do is close his eyes, inhale deeply through his nostrils, and then go to stand up. "...That wont do.." He says very calmly.

"..I have to find away home. Find away to remove this curse.. so I can..." He grits his teeth. "...I miss the skies.." He whispers softly. "..I need to get back.. somehow.."

Fang then slides his hands away from the table as he goes to walk away. Though as he does, he then in his anger roars out before slamming his fist directly into one of the trees. The bark bends slightly under his fist, but just as equally the bark cuts into his knuckles. As he pulls away his hand, splinters are in the knuckle of his hand, blood dripping from the sheer force.

He stares at his hand, at the tender flesh and sneers at it. "...I will.. not be made a lesser being.." He cuts a glance over to Ayako, then looks over to the other woman, then back to Ayako. "..Take care of your other customer.. I need to find a stream." Then Fang starts to walk off.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako winces when she witnesses Fang's anger. Doubly so when she witnesses Fang punch the tree. "A-ahh..." She quickly floats off of the chair and over to him. Yes, she has absolutely no legs or feet and her long blue skirt billows in the air as she floats. "Fang... here..." She presses her sleeves together, and a ball of purple water materializes above them. "This is healing water... for your hand... I am sort of a stream after all." The ball of water floats over to Fang and Ayako curtseies gracefully in mid-air, "All the same... good luck, Fang. I wish you the best."

Ainsley (151) has posed:
Ainsley turns her head as he walks off, again considering Fang... she doesn't dare let pity onto her face, although she does feel it for the man. She looks to the blood, and then to Fang again.

"Is the race of men 'lesser,' or simply different...?" she wonders at Fang, in that tone of someone who isn't quite sure that humans are as weak as some things like dragons and monsters like to think they are. "You are a stubborn sort," she remarks, after that, though she keeps the smile on her face. Keep looking pleasant, even if she might say something that agitates him, always the best plan.

She finds her seat after that, and smiles at Ayako silently, as if waiting for a cue.

Fang (594) has posed:
Fang pauses as Ayako comes over to him. He gives her a puzzling look, even when she forms the ball of water. Silence follows him as he just stares at her, then the water. He gently lifts his hand into the water, to let it heal his own injury.

"..Right." He says calmly. "..Water sprite..." His blue eyes look lost for a moment, before he moves his hand away once its healed. "..thanks.." The young man then says in an almost whisper, stepping away shortly after. "... Maybe we will see one another again in time."

He does glance over he shoulder to Ainsley, speaking to her in a rather more normal tone of voice, "Where I come from.. we don't have a clan of humans. This form.. I am in right now." He flicks his vests' collar. "This is how we all look in some way or form before we fledge. Before we take on our true form. Be it Golem, Phoenix, or Medusa.."

Fang then looks away from her, ".. or myself.. Dragon Emperor.. everything taken from me.. all but name and memories.." He rumbles those words with a sound of anger in his voice, before truly leaving Ayako and Ainsley to their peace.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako smiles gently at Fang and nods her head. "You're welcome, Fang... and I would like that. Let's meet again later." She floats back over to her chair and shuffles the face-up tarot cards back into her deck. She hmms thoughtfully as she shuffles... Fang still on her mind... and then places the deck on the table in front of Ainsley. "Well, Ainsley... I take it you're interested in what I do, huh?" She smiles softly at her. Her sleeves gesture to the deck of cards on the table. "Please, cut the deck if you would."

Ainsley (151) has posed:
Ainsley lets out a heavy sigh when the cards are gestured to. She regards them with a silent wonder, because it's hard to say whether she believes in this kind of thing or not. She needs a minute to assess whether she should or not. Then she reaches to grab half the deck and shuffle it as if she's had practice. Then she sets the cards back on top of the deck, and smiles over at Ayako in patient silence.
Behind Ainsley, just at the edge of her outline, her tail feather tuft can be seen wiggling around, showing some energy and excitement.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako notes Ainsley's hesitation and smiles a cheerful smile in response to it. "No need to hesitate. The future is always changable through your own actions, fortune telling or not." She smiles a comforting smile. Once she notes Ainsley cutting the deck, she positively beams!

Ayako carefully takes the cut deck, takes a deep breath... and deals out five cards in the same cross pattern she did for Fang. "Well... let's see what these cards have to say!" Her sleeve turns over the card closest to Ainsley. Strength, upright. "Hmm... well, this card and it's position are familiar... discipline and control."

Ainsley (151) has posed:
"Discipline... and control," Ainsley repeats, staring at the Strength card for some time, a little unsure if it fits for her. "I lack control in many aspects of my life, and I always strive to train more of that trait into myself, despite every instinct telling me that I should be a free and wild creature." She streeetches a bit in her chair, and then rests both hands on her head, frowning down at the cards, waiting for the next one.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako nods her head slowly, "It can also suggest an internal battle within. Perhaps one that required a lot of persistence and effort to overcome." She inclines her head to the side gently, "Or perhaps one that is still going on from a long time ago."

Ayako then gazes over to the card on the left side of the cross. "But I bet your present card is different." Her sleeve swiftly flips over the card. The Empress, upright. "Hmm... the card of comfort and desire..." She looks between the past and present cards for a moment and shakes her head slowly. "I'm not sure how these cards go together well... maybe I might be missing something?"

Ainsley (151) has posed:
"Faruja," Ainsley murmurs gently, reaching up to rub at the side of her neck, "I'm free of the trouble of mana deprivation, I have many allies and friends..." She lids her eyes. "It is appropriate. Is that appropriate?" She looks up at Ayako, searching for any hint to the contrary.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako smiles softly, "That... that would definitely do it. Doubly so if those allies and friends have helped ease the internal battle within." She nods her head slowly and then glances at the card on Ainsley's right. "Hmm... the immediate future card is next then." Her sleeve reaches over and flips it face up. The Magician, upright. "Ah. You are approaching a period of energy, activity, and creativity. When it does occur, don't hesitate!" She smiles softly. "I think your friends and allies will help you along the way as well."

Ainsley (151) has posed:
The card is displayed to her. Ainsley frowns at it quite deeply, because it displays a sort of immediate future that leaves her uncertain about her decisions. Even if it's a positive one. She fiddles with the feathers on her head, contemplating it like she did before. She's a scholar, though, so piecing together a sensible idea of this is something she's trying to do, which is quite a foolish endeavour.

"Energy, activity, and creativity." Repeated, thoughtfully. "So many things that could apply to..."

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako nods her head slowly. "That is true. I cannot tell what that energy, activity and creativty will be directed to. But maybe the future card might tell us more?" Her sleeve flips over the card closest to her. The World, upright. She smiles brightly, "Ah... well, it seems with their support and your own effort you will achieve what you are aiming to create or do. Not only that, it will definitely give you a sense of fulfillment and completeness."

Ayako nods her head cheerfully. "Ahh. It feels nice to give a pleasant fortune after so many seemingly bad ones..." Her eyes turn towards the card in the center. "I'm not sure if you want to see the center card. But... in the end, it is up to you." She smiles softly.

Ainsley (151) has posed:
Ainsley smiles with some relief at the idea that she will reach her goal... which she isn't quite sure about, when it actually comes to her mind. She reaches over to touch the World card gently, thinking on what she might be like at the end of the road. And the similar implications it has to what Inga once told her. "Go on," she murmurs.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako nods her head slowly, and with some hesitation, flips over the center card. Temperance, upright. "Ah... Hmm... this card says that harmony, balance, and unification is key. You might see things as opposites that cannot come together, but you may find that they can indeed come together harmoniusly. Be prepared to think about who you are, what you think you are, and what you will become in the future." She smiles softly.

Ayako Hasekawa has posed:
Ayako smiles softly to herself as she shuffles the face up cards back into the deck. "Ainsley, I hope my fortune telling has given you a some hope for the future and perhaps a few things to think about." She smiles softly as Ainsley departs and then tucks the deck of cards into her sleeves. A moment passes as Ayako rummages around in her sleeves to rebottle the deck of tarot cards before it returns to the watery abyss of her dimensional pocket.

Once the cards are safely in, Ayako floats off of her chair and spreads her arms outwards. Her blue rose themed furnishings swiftly return to the water they were made from and absorb into her watery body. "Aahh~ that was fun!" She inclines her head to the side gently. "I wonder who will come next time?" She giggles brightly as the light blue flames that float around her go out one-by-one. "Well then Spring... until next time." Ayako curtsies elegantly in mid-air and then does a small twirl as she dissolves into water vapor, leaving only a few cherry blossom petals that were on her body and clothing to flutter to the ground.
