WMAT A1 Metal Man vs. Vanessa Selby

Synopsis:	Metal Man has a show down with a much younger fed by the name of Vanessa. Sadly for him expressions about old age against youth? Does not seem to apply this day.

Metal Man (11) has posed:
Metal Man has been a long time fighter in the Multiverse. If one checked the record of both factions it would be found he predates the founding of both Super factions. How long has he been here? Only he, his maker and perhaps a few others old hands at the multiverse know for sure. Metal Man is already in the arena he's been here sitting on a plateau cross legging waiting his eyes closed as he looks for all the world just a statue, no movement no anything he simple is waiting for the arrival of his foe for this fight.

Vanessa Selby (323) has posed:
Vanessa arrives on scene a bit anxiously, she's not one to normally fight but there was money at stake here. This place wasn't too bad though, she might have to come here some time when she's not in battle. Still, she couldn't afford to let her mind drift too much. She looks around for her opponent having just heard his voice on the radio. He wasn't in her field of vision yet though.

Metal Man (11) has posed:
Metal Man eyes snap open as he looks about. Metal Man is a ghost in the Confederate Ranks, long having lost any desire for the games of ranks with in the super nations elite forces. Vanessa likely has never seen him before he's alaready up and moving he is tracking her and she'd find without much warning as KMetal man moves form his hiding place upon her raining razor sharp sawblades at her.

Vanessa Selby (323) has posed:
Vanessa tried to gather some information on Metal Man, but had limited success in doing so. She quickly finds out why he's called Metal Man though as the sawblades go flying at her. The fox-girl isn't known for her agility however and finds the blades cutting into one of her arms and legs letting out of a scream of pain. A chunk of ice forms in her uninjured hand and is thrown at the Robot Master.

Metal Man (11) has posed:
Metal Man is hit harder than he dishes out shocking and he seems amused about this little fact here.

"Not bad."

he pulls the Ice out of his body and then turns his attention to her leaping about abuving the uneaven terrain with no seeming issues about getting himself about. It's like he was made for places like this. He flips once over her raining down blades as he goes.

Vanessa Selby (323) has posed:
Vanessa on the other hand isn't that mobile, so it looks like she's going to have play defense here. She forms her own blades to try and block his. They're not too successful at doing so as she finds herself getting cut more. Still, her weapons have a secondary effect as they send shards of ice flying everywhere.

Metal Man (11) has posed:
Metal Man is getting railed on here and isn't doing so well, maybe he should be better winterized? It's hard to reall really at this point. He's got a bunch of ice in him and he's got ot keep moving, the old robot master still has a few tricks left to him however.

"Let's see you deal with this!"

He lands flips off a cliff face and rebounds right at Vanessa to impact with her!

By now Vanessa's figured out she can't outmove Metal Man, she's going to have trade hits with him and hope he goes down first. As the falling Robot Master comes at her, she's covers herself with an icy shell. It wouldn't likely absorb all the impact but he would likely get damaged in the process of trying to hurt her.

Metal Man (11) has posed:
Metal Man is quick on his feet but he does just tear through the ice with onlky a little damage. He twist his body comming baout brning back his fist for a punch to attempt to push Vanessa back and keep her off balance.

"METAL FIST!"

Okay it wans't his move but he saw another Metal Man long ago who could do such and took notes from his counter part!

Vanessa Selby (323) has posed:
Getting punched by a metal fist certainly wasn't pleasant, she reels as she gets punched in the chest. Her own fists are covered with ice into makeshift gauntlets and Vanessa returns the favor. She's not that strong physically but she just has to hit the right spot to do damage.

Metal Man (11) has posed:
Metal Man is proving to be hard to pin down, it seems he's made for high levels of mobility. While not fast as son, he seems to be able to turn on a dime and then some. Vanessa is able to glance him but not enough get past his armour for the most part. He looks down at it for a moment and looks back at her.

"Close combat isn't your thing is it?"

With that he flips away cartwheeling and then throwing several more blades at Vanessa.

Vanessa Selby (323) has posed:
"I'm not really the direct combat type." Vanessa's mostly using her mind here, but ice hasn't exactly the best weapon against metal to begin with. She manages to make a shield of ice in one hand, and blocks most of the blades with it. She then grips the shield with her other hand as well trying to slam it against his head.

Metal Man (11) has posed:
Metal Man smirks a little bhit at this behind his faceplace and seeks to press in on Vanessa as he turns his attention to her, he gets WHAMED. IT's pretty bad as it smacked him up side the head. It's not enough to drop him, but it's clealry been a heck of a hit. He does however snap his head back into place.

"So you want to get serious then I can!"

Metal Man makes his move to slice an rock formation above Vanessa and hopefully cause it to fall on her as he flips away!

Vanessa Selby (323) has posed:
Rocks coming falling down on Vanessa. She forms a wall of ice in front of her to try and absorb some of the attack but doesn't seem to have much luck in doing so as she's buried. A hand manages to reach up from the pile, however, and forms several icicles on one of the spires above before they break loose and fall on him.

Metal Man (11) has posed:
Metal Man seeks how heavy things are going and things won't be lasting much longer and MEtal Man Knows this. He dances back but it';s not enough as he gets paled in the right shoulder and he's clearly badly damaged. He lets out a cry as he pulls it free and then laughs.

"It seems you have more teeth than I Thought!"

He now shifts his good arm and throw a very well aimed blade for Venessa.

Vanessa Selby (323) has posed:
"What are you laughing at?" Vanessa doesn't find this funny at all, she's lost a few pints of blood at this point and is going to need many stitches. She ducks under the blade but it ends up cutting one of her ears as she does so. Why did those have to be so sensitive. She forms another ice blade and tries to jam in one of the many openings in his body, maybe she can take something vital offline.

Metal Man (11) has posed:
Metal Man Says "Just happy I got a challenge! I was not expecting a challenge."

He moves at high speed now as he summons a blade and then anotehr and anotehr which he starts throwing at Vanessa trying to area saturate with metal blades. There seems to be no end to this as he keeps throwing them.

"The forcast cloudy with a 100 percent chance of blades!"

Vanessa Selby (323) has posed:
Vanessa's a bit curious to where are all the blades come from, she doubts he's some kind of metallokientic. Of course she doesn't really have time to ask as she finds herself being stabbed repeatedly. She gasps in pain, a bit surprised that she's still vertical after all that. It was time to return to the favor, as many icicles go flying at Metal Man. She wants to finish this before she passes out from blood loss.

Metal Man (11) has posed:
You should beware the unassuming looking ones. This is a lesson that Metal Man has learned. However? There is one problem is he's learned the lesson but well? He's just smashed to heck by a wild barrage of icicles which end up pinning him to a cliff face. He raises one hand weakly saying.

"Well fought I surrender."

Vanessa Selby (323) has posed:
"I'm not going to argue with that." Vanessa's feels like she's about to pass out at this point. All she cares about is winning and moving to the next round. She was a step closer to a huge payday. For now it was time to get some sleep.
