Summer Powers (441) has posed:
A God Tier Homestuck Player is never late, nor is she early. She arrives precisely when she means to.

Or, to sum it up, Summer is showing up a /little/ bit late for her fight. Yeah, she is basically trying to show up Styleishly Late, flying into the arena. Yeah, this place should be fairly nice to fight at. Lots of empty area, plenty of room to go completely all out.

She is dressed rather nicely, too. A beautiful outfit, a Gothic Lolita outfit that looks almost completely unfit for one on one combat. It's /way/ too elegant. Her hair is in blonde ringlets, as per usual. She holds something close to her, her arms wrapped around it.

...Is that a Mr. Satan plushie?

Yes. It is. It is also her weapon for this tournament. We'll see how this works out.

She smiles, looking around. Yeah, there is some audience, and she makes a bit of a wave to them. Especially some Salamanders that are GLUB GLUB GLUB'ing nearby. She's not the /best/ at working the crowd, so the wave to them is more or less going to be it for intentional showboating.

Nanoha Takamachi (94) has posed:
Enter Nanoha Takamachi.

The twelve year old redhead is already in the armored white and blue dress of her Barrier Jacket, her faithful Device, Raising Heart is slung to rest over her shoulder as she makes her way onto the field. She is, in fact, quite punctual and on time. So this means she's waiting perched on one rocky plateau by the time Summer arrives.
But she doesn't seem to mind in the least. "Hi!" She chirrups when her oppoent shows up. "I'm going to go all out. So I hope you do the same, okay?"
Heavens have mercy on the battlefield.

Mel (29) has posed:
AAAAAAAAAAAAADIIESSSSSSSSS AND GENTLEMEN!!! Welcome to another of our very special World Martial Arts Tournament events!!! We have a wonderful treat for you today, in the form of yet another lovely battle between two ladies with backgrounds as colorful as this announcer's tie! *pause* Anyway, it is my great pleasure to introduce to you a young, up and coming, recruit of the Time-Space Administration Bureau - a potent magician with a penchant for some real collateral! But don't you worry, our insurance is the best in the world! *Completely omits assuring the audience that they'll be okay* ... It's... *camera shifts to the girl in white and blue mages robes* ...NANOHA TAKAMICHI!!! *Crowd cheers!*

And last, but certainly not least by any means, we have a... *awkward pause as Mel stares at cue cards little too long* ... a lovely lady who is practically a God in her own right in the world she hails from, creator of an entire universe, the being known as the Rogue of Life whose agelessness and ability to syphon the lifeforce of those hwo would oppose her will surely make her a formidable opponent here! Please welcome.... SUUUUUUUUUMEER POOOWERS!!! *camera focuses on the gothic lolitra girl as the crowd cheers!*

"Eheh heeeeehhh..."
Whelp. Nanoha's first match. One hand rubs at the back of her neck as she tries to grok the idea, but...
Well as long as it's fun.
"Okay let's see now." The pigtailed girl muses, swinging her staff off her shoulder with a brief twirl for showmanship.
<STOP THAT.> Raising Heart protests the dizzying spin; which results in something of a sheepish giggle. "Well, let's do our best, okay?"
<DESTROY HER.>
"R-Raising Heart?"
<WHY ARE YOU NOT SHOOTING YET?>
A drop of sweat slides down Nanoha's forehead. "U-um? A-Accel Shooter?"
<ACCEL SHOOTER!>
The staff seems -way- too excited about summoning six small orbs of pink light which lance for Summer fast enough to leave trailing beams of pink light.

Mel (29) has posed:
Woah! What a great start! Looks like Nanoha is leading this fight of with a light show! Six, beautiful, spheres of rose-colored energy aimed directly at Summer! ... And the Accel Shooters hits! What an - Accelent Attack! *Crowd boos loudly at puns!* ... Off mic, "What??"

Summer Powers (441) has posed:
The orbs of pink light strike Summer. In truth, she barely even moves. She can tell, from the speed of them alone, that dodging such a fast attack is probably going to be near impossible. So instead, she remains still, letting the magical energy explode at her.

She smirks slightly at Nanoha. Yeah, sure, Nanoha is a little girl. But this simply makes Summer decide to take her /all that more seriously/. For someone to be fighting in the C Bracket at that age is astounding, and she intends to take this fight quite seriously.

Calmly, she lifts her left hand. From it, a mass of green vines shoot out. They move forward, trying to enwrap Nanoha. Trying to slowly weaken her body. Summer's main focus is as support. So, to stand a chance, she'll have to weaken the enemy mage as soon as possible.

Once the vine is shot, though, Summer takes off backwards, floating into the sky. In her right hand, the plushie of Mr. Satan is held. She squeezes it slightly, and suddenly it shifts shapes. It takes the form of a knife with a red, wooden hilt. On the pommel of the blade, the symbol of the World Martial Arts Tournament can be seen.

Summer smiles, pointing the blade forward.

"This should be quite a bit of fun, wouldn't you say?"

Mel (29) has posed:
"What's this? What a peculiar attack! Summer assaults Nanoha with some manner of magical vine attack! Is this Summer Powers fabled life draining maneuver?!"

Nanoha Takamachi (94) has posed:
<A DIRECT HIT. KEEP IT UP. DO NOT STOP SHOOTING UNTIL ALL THAT IS LEFT IS A CRATER.>
"Um... Raising Heart I think... I think I'm supposed to be in charge he-"
<-DESTROY HER FOR THE WIN-.>
This is intensely awkward as Nanoha's triggerhappy Device distracts her horribly. Long enough for those vines to connect and constrict her. "h-hya?!" For all she squirms, the effect is apparent. Her wriggling lessens as energy saps away. But then her dress EXPLODES.
The upper jacket-looking part anyway, just enough to free her after that energy-sapping grasp. She's already resting her hands on her knees to pant and catch her breath.
<WALK IT OFF.>
"OH COME ON."
There seems to be dissent in the ranks as Mage and Device argue. "I -want- this to be fun!" She replies to Summer after reigning in her talking weapon with some tired flailing.
"Ah... How about..."
<YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN.>
"RAISING HEART!"
Huff.
Up comes her left hand. It's been a while since Nanoha has had to calculate a spell on her own. "Ummm... Oh right."
"Magical, Lyrical..." How does the rest of that incantation go? "SHOOOOOOOT!"
It is a single bullet of pink light that flits across the field at the God-Tier Homestuck-er.

Summer Powers (441) has posed:
The bullet strikes, impacting into Summer's shoulder. Nanoha, despite her arguement with the device, still has impressive aim, and quite decent skill with range. Time to lower that gap a bit.

She dashes in, despite the pain in her arm. The blade clasped in her hand comes in first, trying to stab towards Nanoha's stomach. It's good to know how people will move in response to attacks as well, and Summer has some experience with this. If the stomach is hit, the head tilts forward. And so, the stab is followed by a left handed punch straight at the face.

If Nanoha is knocked back? Summer simply follows, trying to ensure that the distance between the two of them stays incredibly close. Summer has the potential to do the most damage at close range. And magic, well. It might have a chance of backfiring if launched at point blank range.

"...It might be just me, but it almost sounds like you are going to have some trouble having fun. Go with the flow more."

Mel (29) has posed:
"There seems to be sort of technical problems on Nanoha's end!" Mel exclaims, far more cheerfully than is perhaps appropriate. "That vine attack seems to have really taken its toll, also! What formidable power indeed, what will Nanoha respond with?!" *pause as a singular sparkling bullet of rose light speeds across the arena* "...Aaaa-nother Accel Shooter, but weaker this time. Nanoha must be taking it on easy on her opponent right now!" ... "Aaaaand Summer sure doesn't seem to be feeling compelled to do the same! She rushes in with a bold and brutal combinations with expert deftness! This is quite a show!" *more crowd cheering*

Nanoha Takamachi (94) has posed:
In her hurry to get her staff to agree with her, Nanoha looks up and... Suddenlt has Summer right in her face.
"I'm trying to- Ah..."
It's only pure reflexes that keeps the stab from going too deep, a sudden lurch backwards to minimize the damage. But it's not perfect, and the tiny yelp says that Summer's stroke hits home- followed by that pummeling left that sends the tiny redhead staggering backwards, a nasty bruise forming on her cheek.
"MNF!"
It definitely sounded like it hurt as she takes a two handed grasp on her Device...
<DON'T YOU DARE.>
Nanoha Dares. Simply using Raising Heart as a cudgel, she intents to swing as hard as she can and counter the up close brawl by baseball bat-ing the round gem-head of her staff back at Summer with all her might.

Mel (29) has posed:
"Looks like Nanoha's still got some fight in her! She responds to Summer's brutal combination with a bludgeoning attack of her own! She's going to be feeling that one for a while!"

Summer Powers (441) has posed:
The staff comes in strong, striking Summer. And, much like a baseball bat, the force manages to push Summer aside. If she were a baseball, perhaps she would be sent flying straight away from Nanoha. Instead, due to her extra weight, she is more pushed to the side.

And, as she is pushed, she drops to the ground. This is obviously intentional. Get under the staff a bit. She then rolls towards Nanoha, before doing a handstand. This is made a /lot/ easier due to the fact that Summer can just somewhat casually ignore the pull of gravity. Being a God has its benefits. Namely, simple flgiht.

While in the handstand? She supports herself on one finger. Her legs, spread out. This is normally not the best move to use in a dress, but her tights, and the various layers under the gothic lolita dress, keep things fairly tame. Unless this were Victorian England, maybe. Still, with her legs spread, she proceeds to spin on her finger, kicking straight at Nanoha's face. With both feet, one after another.

She doesn't have time to straighten herself up yet, though. It will take her a second, leaving her somewhat vulnerable from this bit of a risky attack.

"Well, try harder! If I lose, I don't want it to be someone who ends up having a miserable time of things!"

Mel (29) has posed:
"Summer takes the blow hard! ... Or does she? Whether that stumble was intentional or not, she certainly knows how to roll with those hits! Truly, a competitor worthy of this Martial Arts Tournament!" There's a measured pause. "...Aaaand Summer not only deftly mitigates the damage of that blow, but manages to turn her brief encounter with the ground into an all-out counter attack!" Mel chuckles, amused. "And a bit of a risque one at that ~" *The crowd whistles sharply behind* "Nanoha will be feeling those kicks for a while!"

Nanoha Takamachi (94) has posed:
Huff! After getting off that swing, Nanoha has to catch her breath. Normally she wouldn't even be breaking a sweat right now, but the sapping power of those vines that caught her have the girl panting.
"Ah, don't worry about me, I'll work into it!" She replies. She IS smiling though the sight of Summer's one-fingered hand-stand is distracting the sudden spin makes blue eyes widen.
"AH!"
Paff-paff-paff.
Several of the blows ring the little mage's clock, but she hops back in time to avoid taking a serious beating from it. She's still cradling her bloodied middle as is from the prior stab as she one-hands her Device. "Raising Hear, come on -please-."
<OKAY.>
This time the Device does the calculations for her master, unleashing a sudden explosive wave of pink mana, fired in a concussive cone at the God-tier player like a shotgun but inifinitely less lethal and a lot more pink.
<RIOT STUNNER!>

Mel (29) has posed:
"OH! What an interesting counter! Nanoha, on the tail-end of receiving those dexterous kicks, replies with a an attack as flashy as it is fanciful! That burst of brilliant rose colored nagic is stronger than anything else we've seen from her tonight! Looks like she might be getting in the game! This announcer surely wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of THAT attack!"

"While we're on THAT note, I'd just like to remind you all to check out the Multi Moveable Systems booth down in the arena lobby! After all, without MMS we'd not be able to bring you this LOVELY martial arts spectacle, and we'd certainly have one less announcer!" *camera pans to Mel, standing behind a microphone that's almost as big as she is, dressed in her usual Shinki armor - which looks akin to a form-fitting black leather uniform. She doesn't even bother to look, and so the camera pans back to Nanoha and Summer. "Multi Moveable Systems, your friend and companion in Shinki ownership!"

Summer Powers (441) has posed:
The explosive cone knocks Summer back. This time, she loses her balance for real, crashing back to the ground behind her. She rolls onto her stomach, and gets up on one knee. Yeah, this isn't going well. Close up seemed like a good option, but Nanoha's magic doesn't seem to have that much backblast, or that much issue with being used at close range. Time for a change of strategy.

Summer bursts into the air, and turns the knife back into a Mr. Satan plush. She is /quite/ a bit up now, though still visible. She smiles, looking down. Shouting, so that Nanoha can hear her, she speaks up.

"Well, at least you're getting a bit more into it now. You worked out you issues with that... thing you have at least."

She holds out the plushie, though. While the knife is generally best for attacking, plushies work decently as a focus for her powers, sometime. Much like a wizard often uses a staff to focus their magic, she can use a plushie to focus her God powers. Really, she doesn't /need/ to, just sometimes it make it easier.

And as such, from the Mr. Satan plushie, a /massive/ vine whipes out. It flies downwards, trying to stab straight into Nanoha. If it strikes, Nanoha would feel a chunk of 'Life Energy' pulled from her. More or less, a chunk of her health would ente the vine. And, if it hits, the vine transforms, into a green ball of glowing light.

Mel (29) has posed:
"That blast really sent Summer reeling! Looks like Nanoha might have turned the tables again in the space of just a few moments!" *pause* "But Summer is taking to the air!" *There's a pause, until she's reached the apex of her jump. "She's clutching a stuffed caricature of our beloved World Champion, Mr. Satan! What could she be intending to do with it?" *pause again, for the entirety of the attack to occur* "WHAT AN INCREDIBLE ATTACK! Summer unleashes another of her deadly life-sapping vines on Nanoha, and this one does catastrophic damage! How will Nanoha recover?!"

Nanoha Takamachi (94) has posed:
"Phew..."
For a moment. For a moment, there, Nanoha thought she had some breathing room.
Then comes the SLRCH, A sudden grunt of confusion and pain sounding off before she looks down and realizes...
That vine is embedded right in her gut. "Hnk...?" Teeth grit, and when her very strength is sapped, she jerks back, biting down a cry of pain as she lurches backwards, forcibly ripping herself free with a stagger that ends with her braced on her staff and holding her stomach. For all their bickering before, Master and Device are in synch now.
<ARE YOU OKAY?> Raisinf Heart asks with genuine concern.
"I... I'll live."
<DESTROY HER?>
"Y-yeah, destroy her."
<CANNON MODE.>
Just like that, the rounded gem head of her staff takes on a more spear-like point. Wings of pink light flaring out from behind it as a rifle grip and trigger snap down into place and she proceeds to load what looks like a rifle magazine into the Device.
<CARTRIDGE LOAD!> Raising Heart announces, with a ka-CHUNK before spitting an empty shell casing as Nanoha takes aim. ACCEL VOLLEY!>
Remember Accel Shooter? This time it's triple the projectiles, zipping at Summer with laser spead in a burst of machinegun hailfire.

Summer Powers (441) has posed:
There is a reason Summer is a God. It was not something she earned easily, or kept easily. So many battles, all of which could of easily killed her and all her friends. And, now, she has had countless eons to practice her skills at controlling Life.

As the projectiles move in, Summer acts fast. There is honestly more 'Life' in everything in the world than one might think. Even the soil itself has Life in it. In fact, a lot of magic can be considered to have 'Life' to it. It's just a matter of stretching the definition a bit.

The Life absorbing vines burst out from the plushie again. They move, to intercept the various shots. 'Life' is drained from the bursts of lasers, weakening them. The lasers still move in to strike Summer, but their power has been significantly weakened.

"It'll take quite a bit to try and destroy me."

She holds her left hand out. The ball of green life stolen from Nanoha flies as per her hand movements. And suddenly, it changes shape. It appears much like a spear or lance, or perhaps a gigantic thorn. A thorn made of Nanoha's very life essence. The thorn flies down, once again aiming to strike Nanoha straight through the body.

Summer is attacking Nanoha with Nanoha's own life.

Mel (29) has posed:
"That last attack by Summer makes one of the most gruesome this announcer has yet seen, and even so Nanoha continues to fight! Truly, she is a fighter worthy of the name!" *The cheering of the crowd grows louder still, offering their energy and enthusiasm in support of Nanoha* "But what will she do?! This fight looks like it could become one-sided!" *There's along silence from Mel as Nanoha and Raising Heart go through the motions of preparing for Cannon Mode. It's not until Accel Volley is announced that Mel begins again. "WOAH! This next attack is an enormous one! A much more powerful variant of the Accel Shooter it seems!"

"...But Summer continues to dominate! She syphons the energy of Nanoha's own attack and turns it against her! This time in the form of a thorny impalement! The plant theme is heavy here!"

Nanoha Takamachi (94) has posed:
This is... Awkward.
Having her very own life energy used against her, Nanoha tries to evade and ends up with a green lance through the gut.
She sags from the wound again, eyes glazing over with pain briefly before she manages to pick herself back up through little more than sheer steel determination and iron will, where other twelve year old girls would be collapsing and needing to go to the hospital.
"M-mnh... Let me just get started." Murmured as the thumbs a switch on Raising Heart.
Ka-CHUNK-ka-CHUNK.
Two spent shell casings are launched this time as a sphere of pink light, which quickly expands and inflates, motes of energy drawn into the center of the orb before...
<DIVINE BUSTER.>
With that proclamation, Nanoha squeezes the trigger, unleashing a torrential wave of mana in a pillar of pure pink light back at Summer!

Mel (29) has posed:
"Nanoha is feeling the effects of that last attack! Yet despite having her life drain, in more ways than one, she continues to stand in the face of relentless and gruesome cruelty!" Pause. "Here comes another curious looking attack from Nanoha, what will it be this time? I -" Suddenly, the sound of a veritable explosion of magical energy comes, as Nanoha unleashes the fury of Divine Buster on Summer. Nothing Mel says can be heard during this portion. "...and that is why this last attack was truly impressive!"

Summer Powers (441) has posed:
The pillar of light is far more than Summer could easily block with her Life skills. It tears at Summer, causing her a fair amount of damage. She winces, looking down. She wasn't even able to move out of the way in time.

This throws her off, though. It's hard to attack right after you've been laser'd. But, in desperation, she is going to do something a bit crazy.

"Empty Sylladex."

The Sylladex, an invisible high tech item storage system. Capable of holding a number of items.

And Summer filled her with grand pianos.

It's basically raining grand pianos at Nanoha now.

Mel (29) has posed:
"How will Summer respond to that momentous attack?!" Mel can barely be heard diverting her attention momentarily, arguing with someone off mic. Someone with a high-pitched, child-like voice. ... There's silence. ... And then the childish voice can be heard shouting something about 'dollies' in the background, and then the mic turns over as Mel latches on the table cloth... pulling it from under the mic. The camera pans, a little girl is fighting with her family while swinging Mel violently above her head. The camera pans back quickly. ... After a few moments, the mic is set right and Mel returns. "...Ah... sorry 'technical difficulties' folks. As I was saying, ... er... Summer seems to be dropping pianos from the sky! What a truly... creative attack!"

Nanoha Takamachi (94) has posed:
Those are pianos.
"Wh..."
<MY MASTER!>
Those are -pianos-.
Nanoha is sent on a rough and tumble evasive course of swerving and rolling. Wings of pink light form on the ankles of her boots and she zips around, battered and pelted, doing her best to grze through the perfect piano storm like a resident of Gensokyo on hard mode before her staff chirps.
<FLASH MOVE!>
In a blur of pink, Nanoha is gone. And then a quick flash has her zooming in an attempt to get up in Summer's face.
<LEFT HOOK!>
It's not a spell.
Nanoha is trying to belt her opponent across the face with the metal knuckles of her gauntlet.

Mel (29) has posed:
"Nanoha deftly dances around her opponent's unorthodox musical assault! Yet, even as these falling pianos play their last notes - the agile TSAB recruit proves she won't be going down without a fight!" Pause. "This announcer can hardly believe what she's seeing, Nanoha moves with speed defying the ability to be seen and slugs Summer the old fashioned way, close and personal! Just the way we like it!"

Summer Powers (441) has posed:
The belting across the face takes Summer completely by surprise. She is sent /flying/ back by it. For all of her incredible strength, she is... Pretty definately not the best there is at taking a hit. She is sort of a weird mix of 'healplz' and 'heavy damage'.

Still, after some restablizing, Summer dashes forward. She poses dramatically, as if she is going to make a /massively/ powerful punch with her right arm.

Except the Mr. Satan plushie is in it.

She proceeds to try and pummel the hell out of Nanoha, using the plushie, over and over again. The plushie is deceptively strong, though! ...And at times it turns into a knife when punched forward, before changing back. In a lot of way, it's similar to one of those 'thousands of punches in the blink of an eye' attacks, except using a plushie/knife weapon.

Seriously, Summer has the /weirdest choices/ in weapons... At the least, she is making the appropriate combat grunts and shouts as she does so, much like a real martial artist might.

Mel (29) has posed:
"Summer responds with a conventional combination of her own! This is truly what the World Martial Arts Tournament is about! Though magical and technology certainly qualify as arts of war, there is nothing like a good old fashioned knock-down, drag out melee! Summer bats Nanoha about, with a plush doll of Mr. Satan no less... a truly humiliating way to be struck indeed!"

Nanoha Takamachi (94) has posed:
Behold the power of Plushkind Strife Specibus.
Nanoha sure is beholding it. Battered and stabbed and pummelled, she bruises visibly, blood beginning to stain her Barrier Jacket red as she eats blow after blow after blow. But it goes to show the power of Mister Satan, even in plush form and being used as a weapon as she tumbles back groundwards from thr counter assault.
A twirl back to right herself to balance and Nanoha is holding Raising Heart in both hands, panting as the Device pops open twin pronged ports to vent an angry hissssssss of steam and bleed off the accumulated magical heat.
"G-geeze... They were serious when they said this tournament would be tough." First match and her opponent is a powerhouse. But she is a determined little girl. That small, indomitable, soul of iron will not let her give up right now as she grasps Raising Heart by the rifle grip again.
Nanoha sets her footing, stomping one boot down in the dust. Reels her arms back.
"Let's try hitting her hard again! Diviiiiiiiine... Bust-"
<KAMEHAMEHA.>
An explosive burst of pink goes launching from her staff.
"A-... Ah..."

Mel (29) has posed:
"Nanoha is taking a considerable beating, and it shows! She's visibly exhausted, but so is her opponent! These two are incredible, let's give them a hand!" *much clapping arises from the stands, accompanied by high-pitched whistling* "...Nanoha takes to the ground again, what will she do this time? Perhaps another..." Suddenly 'Kamehameha' resounds and Mel pauses a bit, as the sound of Summer getting blasted by another energy beam are transmitted. "...And that is interesting indeed. I don't know what THAT was, but it is nothing if not effective!"

Summer Powers (441) has posed:
Yet another powerful magical blast. Summer vaguely wishes she had 'Counterspell', like in one of those tabletop games or something. Alas, it is not something she can achieve right now. Instead she will have to contend with the insanely powerful blast striking her.

Almost instinctively, she reacts. Though it hits, she is almost immediately flying upward. Despite her injuries, she is getting a /lot/ more stable right now. More focused. Perhaps it is the danger of this battle, how close it is right now.

"You know, this is part of why I always wanted to be a magical girl. They're all so badass."

Yeah, that's a bit of an odd thing to come from a god, especially since she's working on getting away from the dangerous spell.

Four vines burst out of Summer's body. They fly towards Nanoha, trying to enwrap her arms. No, not really a binding move. Instead, once again, she is trying to drain life out of Nanoha. It worked well before. Perhaps it will work well now.

Though, she makes a note. After this battle, return some of the life to Nanoha. Hey, she may as well.

Mel (29) has posed:
"Summer responds with yet another life-sapping vine maneuver intended to ensnare Nanoha! And it is successful, snagging the already exhausted magician and draining yet more of her much needed fighting vitality! This fight is coming down to the wire, is it over for Nanoha yet?!"

Nanoha Takamachi (94) has posed:
That lifedrain is a killer.
With the four vines ensnaring her, Nanoha cries out. Eyes scrunching as they grasp her by the arms and start to vampirically suck away her strength.
<REACTOR PURGE!> Raisng Heart announces desperately, making the rest of Nanoha's dress explode in a violent flare of pink light, to free her from the the grasp.
This leaves her in a black undersuit and various pieces of gold plating. Not the most defensive of gear, but the eruption frees her in time to try and get some distance between herself and Summer, one hand clutching her wounds as she pants.

So now, a very tired Nanoha is hoisting her Device to aim, Raising Heart spitting not one, not two, but three cartridges to power the gathering wave of mana building up, relying on the stored energy in each shell, rather than her own reserves, in order to maintain enough strength to continue fighting.
She actually has to reload, and slams another magazine into place before the Device spits out several more shells.
And with a huge ball of pink light hovering in front of her, she two-hands the staff and HEAVES, grunting as she tries to baseball bat it at Summer with the last vestiges of her tiring strength.

Mel (29) has posed:
"It looks like Nanoha's on the edge, the situation looks dire from here! All of this life-draining and even still, the glitches are coming strong! One certainly has to feel bad for her today!" *The crowd reacts with a mix of dismay and enthusiastic cheers as 'TATSUMAKI SENPUKYAKU' is almost drowned out* "...What's this?? ... Nanoha seems to be preparing for a desperation attack! The magnitude of this energy attack she is preparing is staggering! ... Here's the wind up, ... the pitch!!! ... aaaaaaaaand it whiffs?! How disappointing! Still, even so, that probably didn't feel pleasant for her opponent!"

Summer Powers (441) has posed:
As the staff comes in, Summer knows it is too fast for her to dodge, and too strong for her to stop, at least completely. And so, she lifts the Mister Satan plush, in Knife Mode, to try and at least slow it down. Grasping her blade with both her hands, she uses all of her strength to hold back the strong swing. The force of the parry is so strong, that the sparks illuminate the battlefield, just briefly. But, even parrying it, Summer still feels the pressure on her arms, the damage against the muscles and tendons in them. She is quite thankful that she heals fairly easily.

But, she can't hold onto the parry for any longer. It is time for desperate measures. She lets go of the blade. At the least, she has stopped the full force of the attack. Her arms spread out. And she starts to glow with power, flashing with a light green light, much akin to the color of her vines.

This is a desert. There isn't much in it for life, especially after so many battles fought here. But, it still has /some/. She'll borrow some of it. Use it carefully to attack, and then try to recycle it back into the desert itself.

Orbs of life appear throughout the battlefield. Coming to her. They surround Nanoha. And then, Summer simply snaps with her right hand, aimed towards Nanoha.

All of the balls of life turn into piercing thorned vines, all trying to impale straight into Nanoha's center. As they pierce through, they turn back into balls of life energy. Lessened somewhat, now. But all returning back to the desert, where the life will start to regrow itself again.

This is probably one of the most insane things Summer can do with her powers, and yeah, she is looking /incredibly/ winded right now. Hopefully the effort will pay off.

Mel (29) has posed:
"...But Summer manages to avoid taking the worst of that attack, and that seems to be all she needs to secure her victory! With one, last-ditch effort, Summer conjures every last ounce of energy can muster and..." There's a long pause, "...Several glowing orbs of energy are scattered throughout the battlefield! What could this attack be?!" and then another pause interrupted only by the audience collectively gasping... and then breaking into cheers one more! "....Oh! Summer assaults Nanoha with one of the most gruesome and painful life-draining assaults we've seen tonight! Can Nanoha survive this horrendous onslaught?!" Pause. "...No! No she cannot! It's over folks, Winner: Summer Powers!"

Nanoha Takamachi (94) has posed:
This is familiar. A swarming array of more projectiles than she can count.
As the life of the very desert itself all around her is put to use, Nanoha raises her left hand. Even as Raising Heart starts to spit cartridges like candy and try to reinforce the shield of pink light that forms in front of the young girl, Nanoha's lacking armor, fatigue, and injuries have all added up to a horrible combination.
For all she tries to weather the onslaught, it proves to be too much. Her shield holds. Seems to hold.
It cracks.
It shatters like glass.
With one final grunt, Nanoha's body soaks the brunt of way too many impalements that punch through her. For a moment... For JUST A MOMENT... She remains hovering in place, stunned and eyes glazed with pain as her will screams for her to continue. But for all her mind screams to keep going?
Her body gives out, leading to a gentle fall and landing on a patch of dirt where she lays good and unconscious.

Summer Powers (441) has posed:
Oh. Summer isn't done with her. Not /yet/.

...Okay that wasn't supposed to sound threatening.

Either way, Summer floats down towards Nanoha's location. She has won, so there is no reason she /shouldn't/ do this. Holding out a hand, the Life she had stolen from Nanoha earlier? It reappears. It turns into a vine, albeit a less threatening looking one. Leafier, as opposed to thorny. It flows into Nanoha, spreading through her body. Summer is somewhat detecting where the various wounds on Nanoha's body are, and is using the Life to fix them up, at least, as best as she can.

Summer smiles. Even if Nanoha doesn't wake up /quite/ yet, she speaks to her.

"It was a good fight."
