| CAVE AND BONFIRE (2): WONDERLAND | 2025-04-17 23:00:00 | Sterile 2, callsign "Bonfire", has been reborn inside the world of her favorite VR videogame. But... Now she has to understand exactly what's going on. And more importantly, now she has to control and utilize the opportunity this has given her. Is it a Stagehand Scenario, where the game has pulled other help from the outside? Is it the "traditional" Wonderland scenario, where she is cast into a new world made in the image of her game? Maybe an Ender's Game Scenario, where her gameplay was used for drones elsewhere?
Or is it, as she suspects... A Small Soldiers Scenario, where she has just discovered that the Company, creators of IFO2, were hiding the development of advanced human-level AI?

| XDU - Let's Help Hibiki! | 2025-04-20 22:00:00 | As a consequence of certain events at Lobotomy Corporation, Tachibana Hibiki's Symphogear - Gungnir - has been cracked and damaged, something that normally doesn't really happen and which worryingly brings its long-term use into question. Unfortunately, it's not the simplest matter in the world to repair ancient mythological relics turned mahou shoujo transformation devices. To say the least, it takes specialist knowledge and pretty uncommon materials.
Luckily, S.O.N.G. has a brand new addition to their research team who can help with that exact problem! That just leaves the whole bit about necessary resources, but said new hire apparently has a plan for solving that /and/ another pressing issue at the same time. ...Sort of? ... Welcome to the beginnings of MORE SYMPHOGEAR PLOT. This time featuring lighter vibes and lower stakes, if you call securing the existence of 9/10ths of Hibiki's Advantage list lower stakes. Quake in fear as you're saddled for the foreseeable future with yet another NPC blorbo who needs YOUR HELP. More seriously, this is a setup social leading into a couple more scenes after, most of which will probably be not-super-dangerous combat. All comers are welcome so long as they have passing interest in lending a hand. I've wanted to run smaller scale and more 'episodic' little series in the Symphoverse like this for a while, after I accidentally an entire extended alchemist plotline before, and I'll probably be running more of these as slow burn prep for a bigger thing down the line. |
