Profile

Blurr is a courier, scout, and intelligence operative. He is extremely fast and agile, capable of traveling at supersonic speeds on the ground in both his biped and speeder form, as well as accelerating to such speeds nearly instantly from a complete standstill. Additionally, not only can he move ridiculously fast, he also thinks, speaks, and does just about everything at the same incredible pace. Nonetheless, being as fast as he is doesn't allow him to sport heavy armor, and as such he can't take too many blows. Most of the time he doesn't have to, given his ability to dodge just about anything; however, his arrogance often causes him to become overconfident and thus gets him into trouble.

Advantages

Defining

Weaponry: Combat Options···: Blurr has standard laser weaponry concealed in arm compartments that slide open to summon the weaponry at will. These guns can also be fired from his vehicle mode. They are mainly light rapidfire photon cannons that do more damage up close than at range. Incapacitation···: Among the concealed weapons in his arm compartments is a TechVolt EL, a weapon that fires a high-voltage electrical bolt designed to temporarily paralyze or stasis lock another mechanical being. The effect usually lasts a few minutes, or until the victim takes damage from another source, whichever comes first. Debilitation·: Additionally, he is equipped with a small EMP launcher that fires a ballistic mini-missile with an EMP grenade inside of it. The EMP burst is set off as soon as the projectile hits something, and is designed to disrupt optical and audio sensors within an area of effect. It may knock out some electronics, but has no visible effect on organics. Weapon Mastery - Hand to Hand··: Unarmed combat - Blurr's superior agility often gives him the upper hand over less versatile opponents, especially those who rely chiefly on brute strength or size advantage.

Superspeed: Speed·········: Blurr is able to move at supersonic speed on the ground in either of his two forms. He is also able to accelerate to such a velocity nearly instantly from a complete standstill. It would follow from this that he is also very agile, and even the most talented marksman would be hard-pressed to land a hit on him. In addition, Blurr is not only able to move at incredible speeds; he also thinks, speaks, acts and performs most of anything at this same extreme pace. Mobility···: Speed···: In addition, he is so agile and quick-thinking that he can move at such speeds across almost any terrain; in fact, he is so fast that he can easily run or drive across vertical or even fluid surfaces such as water, so long as they do not present any other physical hazard to him. The ability to shift into a vehicle mode also grants him additional versatility. Immunize··: Because everything in Blurr's systems move and process much faster than average, any negative status effects caused by physical agents such as drugs, EMPs, or poisons wear off much more quickly. This does not apply to magical, psionic, or otherwise intangible agents.

Significant

Cybertronian: Cybertron is a planet inhabited by shape-shifting mechanical organisms known as Cybertronians. It has been around for millenia, and thus its denizens are more highly evolved in comparison to most organic species, such as humans. Immortality··: Blurr is essentially a super-advanced AI. Therefore, he cannot be affected by most natural causes of death that apply to organics. Depending on the extent of damage to critical parts, it may be possible to repair and "resurrect" him. Destroying the spark, a sphere of eldritch energies that may be likened to a soul or spirit, is a guaranteed perma-death regardless of circumstances. Imperishable: As a cybernetic creature, Blurr does not require food, sleep, or air nearly as often or as much as organics normally do, cannot die from old age under normal circumstances. He does not require water at all. Toughness··: Due to their large and metallic nature, Cybertronians are much tougher than most organic species. Their bodies are resistant to any material that is not harder than the metal they are made out of. Additionally, he is also equipped with a spherical re-entry shield designed to protect him from atmosphere burn if he ever needed to jump ship. It can sometimes be used to absorb physical impacts. Adaptation··: Blurr is able to easily withstand extreme heat/cold, radiation, and pressure extremes (outer space) to an extent much greater than an average human being. Disguise·: All Cybertronians are naturally capable of changing between 1 biped form and at least 1 other form, typically a vehicular one. In Blurr's case, a terrestrial speeder designed for racing. A casual observer would not be able to tell the difference between him and an inanimate vehicle unless they had advanced scanning capabilities. The form of the vehicular mode can be changed but not easily and requires the intervention of a skilled engineer. Extraordinary Senses··: A Cybertronian's visible and audible spectrum is typically more expansive than that of most organics, and most are capable of adjusting their optic sensors to enable them to see through weaker materials such as cloth, leather, wood, plastic, or thin sections of metal. They are able to detect a shape or movements through these materials but not necessarily details as if viewing in plain line of sight using "default" ranges but can also tune their senses to a particular frequency depending on ambient light/noise or if looking for something specific. They are also capable of detecting the energy signatures of other Cybertronians, devices, or lifeforms with signals of equal or greater magnitude. Hacking··: As a member of a race of cybernetics that has been around for millennia, Blurr is innately more technologically advanced than most other beings. As an intelligence operative in his home planet's military, he has higher than average hacking skills. Hammerspace: All Cybertronians have access to a subspace pocket that exists for the purpose of holding the extra mass that is shunted away when they transform into an alt mode that has lower mass. This subspace pocket can also hold additional small objects.

Minor

The Sentinel: Blurr is in possession of a small (by Cybertronian standards) stealth vessel with the typical sublight and FTL (faster than light) travel capabilities. Combat Options···: The ship is equipped with lock-on guided missiles and forward-facing rapidfire laser ballistics. Toughness··: The ship is equipped with shields able to absorb a limited amount of physical impacts. Stealth·: The ship is equipped with cloaking technology that conceals it from long and short-range sensors. Flight···: The ship is able to fly both within and without the atmosphere of a planet.

Disadvantages

Fast Everything: Blurr is a speed addict. No, no, not that kind of speed. Speed as in fast. He hates waiting for anything and is therefore extremely impatient. Thus one might find him charging into things without giving it much prior consideration, especially if he's very eager to solve the particular problem, or if he simply has been waiting for too long according to him. Getting too impatient or "accidentally" leaving his allies behind is one of the problems that can lead to a lack of preparation to deal with the situation at hand. This can lead to a higher level of danger to himself and/or his allies. In that way, he can often be difficult to work with.

Overconfident: Blurr is extremely arrogant. His pre-war social status likely had a lot to do with this. This can cause him to underestimate his foes or the severity of a problem, leading to him making mistakes at potentially critical moments.
