Profile

Riva always wanted to be a painter. However, a twist of fate and the intervention of some bees caused her to gain the ability to channel spiritual force (called Anima) in a variety of ways, giving her the ability to deal with the supernatural entities that infest the world. This fact also resulted in her recruitment by the Knights Templar, a conspiracy that stands in the shadows of the world in order to protect it from the darkness which seems to eternally threaten it. Most of the time she is a positive and helpful woman who tries to do her best to assist anyone she can, throwing herself into whatever needs doing wholeheartedly. Finding some small solace in her art, the new life that she has been thrust into causes her no amount of stress, headaches, and worse. The connection of Agartha to the Multiverse has caused her handlers in the Templar to use her as a liaison (and field agent) to deal with potential threats to the world And possibly do some good out there, too. Its taking some getting used to.

BAD AT PLANS: Riva generally tries to take the most direct path to accomplish something, and doesnt always seem to notice the flaws in her plan. She has high hopes and dreams and optimism about her chances and abilities and doesnt always plan for when things can go wrong, which means its easy for her to get in over her head.

BRIGHT AURA: The process of making Riva an Anima Wielder has left its mark on her soul. Anyone with the ability to perceive auras or any form of souls or soul power reveals Rivas nature. There is no known way for her to hide this, which makes it quite difficult if they want to avoid detection.

NAIVETE: Riva is in over her head in other ways too. She inherently leans towards taking people at their word, which is a dangerous habit in her own world, let alone in the Multiverse. She hasnt quite developed the skills needed to tell when someone is feeding her a line (though she can certainly tell the difference between a complete absurdity or not, the problem is that definition has narrowed a lot since entering the Multiverse and the Secret World).
